No idea why you are quoting me. I have had mine for almost a year, factory switch and all. I was trying to help out the other poster. Mine works great.
I am going to be honest and DO NOT DO THIS BASED ON WHAT I DID if you don't want to as this worked for me but not telling you to do it.
I could never get the pins after trying and trying. SOOOOO I started guessing. Then it worked once I had the correct combination. I would try to get it for...
I ended up just going with the upgraded OE Tacoma all black wheels. I got them on a great discount from a dealer. Got tired of looking and most all had some sort of poke. I have had them on for probably 10k miles and really like them.
No nerve touched. Clearly you are unaware that my generation and earlier don’t get their nerves touched as they are not from the snowflake generation. We can handle a lot more. You keep blaming the big bad CEO and thinking you are living in a world so much worse than before and keep blaming...
Crazy now how working hard, paid your way through college with no freebies, worked every day in life since 13 yrs old, socked money away in a 401K rather than $8 a day coffee is now the definition of privileged. Well I am definitely privileged and I love every minute of it as I get close to...
You are probably correct but it takes more time to drive and deal with a dealer than just hitting keys on the keyboard. It really is easier and way less stressful/frustrating dealing with some 18 yr old sales kid that you know more about the vehicle than he is selling.
I guess for those than...
Why do people still deal with this stuff? It is so easy to just buy somewhere else and ship the car. I haven't stepped foot into a dealer since before Covid. We have purchased 4 cars since. All out of state because local dealers suck. One was 4 states away and they charged $500 to ship and...
I stand corrected.
Still don't see how all this is partisan yet the EPA has all these checks and balances. So it was a great idea (with science, checks and balances) and will help the environment when they instituted it but now all of a sudden it is a bad idea again with all these said checks...
So then how was this (your quote) " No, that's a bizarre idea motivated by partisan politics, not science. " when you specifically call out the EPA is subject to checks and balances. So if this is a good thing then bi partisan politics wouldn't be the reason for eliminating it. Or was it...
Crazy. It is amazing what the government DOESN'T get involved in (to presumably save lives) but then spends time and tax payer dollars on something such as this. Just seems there are SO MANY other things that should be tackled first.
I was the same way. If I turned it off and the car did not remember that and I had to disable each time getting in I did not buy the car.
It is the most stupid, beuacratic POS system ever invented and it did NOTHING for the environment.
