All is well looks good. I got lucky. Day one let sit in the sun. Peeled right off in 2 minutes no residue left but a little white piece my thumb rumbling got it up.
And the tint guy loves you. As I said if you are NOT (read carefully) in the extreme heat you can flip a coin. You will not notice a difference especially with the premium price. Then again you are probably a huge believer in ceramic coatings as well.
Well that is a bit of an exaggeration. It does not "take out the heat and cool" the car. It is still hotter than hell after sitting in the sun for a long time it just cuts out A LOT and if in a very hot summer place ceramic is worth it. If not in the extreme hit, flip a coin if you want to...
Heat reduction and the tint guys LOVE to sell you ceramic. Their margins are about double that of regular tint. Cost to them is not much more for the tint, the labor time is the same and they can charge a lot more for ceramic.
Rear is right in between what most tint shops have. They usually go 25 then 35. Rears are about 32. However as stated above when the fronts get tinted they even out the back when doing 35%. Personally unless you have great eyesight and your night vision is also perfect then 20% starts making...
Looks great. Right to the edge of awesome and just the perfect amount of CF. Personally I would stop there with the CF as one can do too much CF and I think you have it perfect. Well done.
That sucks. I assume you bought this sight unseen maybe before an SR5 was on the lot to lay eyes on. At least I hope that is the case or well the decision is your fault.
I have also bought a couple cars sight unseen. To include the Tacoma. It was one of the early ones. No local dealers had one...
So you are complaining regarding a dealer doing a free oil change and not wanting to hassle and deal with an aftermarket product that was poorly designed and now THEY have to spend the extra labor and effort. A dealer gets paid a fixed price for the free oil change. For them to have all sorts...
One person that I know of got the Dongar to work with a Viofo camera. I returned mine. The Viofo adapter just works for the "parking mode" while Dongar does not as the parking mode should be intended.
This is simply not true. I did the add a fuse for both the camera and my radar detector...
There isn’t going to be one just like there is t going to be one for speaker volume decrease while reading a text that works in every other Toyota we own but this one.
Thought I would add it here. During the winter I added 4-60 lb sand bags to the bed for better traction. That decreased my mileage down to 15 mpg during the winter. It was worth it as the truck handled the snow, rain and ice much better.
Now that they are removed I am back up to 18.
Well the Dongar didn’t work in parking mode the whole reason I bought it. I think someone finally found the magic settings to get it to work maybe but I was done trying so I bought the VIOFO one that just works. There is no clearance issues. Yes you cannot use the small fuse box cover but the...
Fact and VINS don’t lie but salesmen do. If the VIN says Baja then that is where it is being built. All these folks believing a salesmen like they know anything is hilarious. They are also probably buying the “paint and interior protection” as well because the salesmen told them if they do t...
