you're absolutely right. Suspensions are expensive and it is a big decision. But if you're like me, you will get tired of driving around bottoming out on the stock bump stops and eventually pony up and buy a lift kit.
My suggestion is don't cheap out, like Toyota wants to sell, ready lift good...
I drove a 24 Taco OR with the Readylift on it and it was what I would describe
(disclaimer, opinions are like assholes Everyone has one.)
The readylift was that's described as a suit and tie lift something to look at that, not functional.
I would recommend talking to R4Tacos ask for Twan
I...
Same here, i had a first production line, 6'er and not only leaked but the powder coat came off the top after 4 months of back-and-forth and threatening to go to the Better Business Bureau, they finally replaced the whole thing along with giving me the fold down stainless steel table for my...
Always gonna be something cooler coming out. ? i wish they'd hurry up with some bumpers for the 24
Let's just say I'm getting there with mine. Wife's, just bought this one for me.
The cost of everything is outrageous.
I am far from new to the mod game, the only difference now is the cost, and the level of technicality
My the first truck was a 1983 SR5 Toyota, and it was a lot less complicated to work on and a lot cheaper to mod.
This is a damn Good thing that I'm retired...
Maybe try talking too Twan at Running for tacos. He hooked me up with all of the specs for the lift on my truck and help me troubleshoot. When Toyota had problems.
Sport mode does not accomplish what I am looking to get out of it.
Unless I am actually shifting it, hypermiling it. I'm unable to get more than 14 miles to the gallon. In whatever mode, the truck is in.
I know a lot of it is all the weight that I have added, but most of it is, they lied.
I installed the pedal commander, say Goodbye to what little fuel mileage you had.
But Hey, you can burn the hell off the tires if that's what you want to do.. I
unplugged mine.
I'm gonna look for a more solid tune
I have the sixth element on mine and haven't noticed much of a difference except for the turbo noise. No increase in mileage. I also did the 6 element axle dump.
You can completely reuse everything, Toyota will tell you you have to bye all new sensors and harnesses because they want to reprogram the truck after it throws all the nanny codes. Just like anything with the truck, be sure to keep the key fob, at least thirty feet away from the truck, be sure...
