was able to snag a few photos tonight in the darkest spot I could find on my way home:

Appreciate that. Rigid D-SS floods with Cali Raised brackets. They only pull something like 4amps so having them wired into the 10A circuit shouldnāt be an issue and I can fire both the ditch lights (AUX 2) and rear lights (AUX 1) separately.
Iāll work on getting a video for you guys to show throw with the tailgate up and down. Theyāre damn bright though.
The taillight pops back in no problem at all. Like surprisingly easier than I thought it would be. Canāt tell that it was ever removed.
If you're like me, and wanted the vehicle-specific Rigid light kit for the ARB Bumper, but also wanted the feature of being able to manually fire the lights as well - then this thread is for you. You can also follow this along for the 'normal' install as well; you'd just forego the 'splitter'...
correct, and correct! Iāll take a video to confirm it works with all 3 functions, 2 of which are automatic.
btw, the rigid vehicle-specific kit is just the same thing - the SR-Lās, but with a harness that doesnāt work as intended. So itās not like youāre getting anything better/worse just...
Iāll get the write up posted today, but what Iāll say in the meantime is, donāt bother with the vehicle-specific kit from Rigid. Just call up John and buy the standard flush mount SR-Lās and get SPVās harness. Their kit is way more intuitive and ācompleteā than what the vehicle-specific kit...
Hi all, I just want to echo what everyoneās been saying about John at SPV. I sent an email to them last Friday morning and within minutes, was on the phone with Sidney who was SO knowledgeable, but wanted me to connect with John to be sure I was able to accomplish exactly what I was looking for...
If it makes you feel any better, I have a trailhunter and that same plug is left open/empty on mine too, so I'm not sure what it's there for or its intended purpose, but it's not for the compressor.
Sure did! The only water that got inside was from my wet shoes on the floor mat from me getting in and out of the truck after walking out to test depth.
The first crossing (first pic) was about 20 inches deep. I will say, I started to get a little nervous when I could hear the exhaust burbling from underwater, but the TH made it thru no problems. The second crossing was closer to 30 inches deep; way more than I was comfortable doing, and the...
Second trail in the books - Attempted the Back Way to Sheep Bridge out here, north of Cave Creek, AZ. Unfortunately, didn't think to check one of the up-river Dam flows which had been opened so the water crossing was entirely way too deep. Found out after already crossing a pretty...
Threadjacking a bit: anyone know if ARB plans to release front recovery points? Only ones I know of so far are Nytop and rough country. But would love to keep things matchy matchy with my rear hooks if I can.
Anyone had any 'weird' feelings in their driver's seat, for vehicles equipped with the ventilated seats? I've had my Trailhunter for about 2 weeks, and not only have I noticed that the ventilation doesn't seem to be working as well as Day 1, but I get this 'clunky' feeling when accelerating...
Title says it all. I didn't see a TH-specific thread yet for us to share photos of these out in the wild.
Here's my first test - Took it up to Broken Arrow Trail in Sedona, AZ less than 24 hours after purchasing it. Love this thing.
Sweet build plans.
I also just wanted to share my opinion on the high rise intake / snorkel since I see a lot of comments on that in this thread, as someone who's owned my TH for just 6 days: I actually love it. I enjoy being able to hear the turbo sound and blow-off flutter with the window...
A year later... but I have to say I really enjoyed my experience at Toyota of Surprise in the west valley. I'm in the Tempe area and drove all the way out there to check out a vehicle they had just got delivered, and everyone there was so professional and pleasant. Wouldn't hesitate to go back...
Well that sure was almost too easy. It IS a little confusing because the thicker white wire is actually the ground, and the smaller black wire is the 15A power wire; had to be careful to not reverse them. But once wired up, worked like cake. I loomed and heat shrunk my own harness as well...
