Reading the manual and the slew of posts I understand the limits and requirements of when to use and engage said modes. I really only had one or two specific questions here as I try to understand more specifically
Take it easy on me. First truck, first time learning these systems. What is the benefit \ purpose of locking the rear diff. where it only works when the vehicle is in a 4wd mode, let alone ONLY 4lo? My understanding is locking the rear diff forces the two rear wheels to rotate at the same speed...
Thanks! Will look into that product now. Hopefully my Tonneau cover doesnt change any of that. Since an OEM Tonneau cover adjusts the rail and drops it down lower.
Anyone know of any molle panels that will work in the bed of these 4th gens? Something that requires no drilling. Ideally somehow mounts using the built in rails? Whether its just a panel on each side or just one up front dont matter to me.
Few pics for reference of what im looking for.
No. You simply take a trim tool or screw driver and depress the clip. Old assembly pops out, disconnect connector, connect it to this assembly, snap it back into door, done.
Pair of plug n play courtesy lights for your front doors. Bright AF and press of a button you can make them red. Check my build thread to see them in action.
$40 shipped.
Wondering if theres any tricks or tips as when to get a better deal on some rubber. In the past ive saved shipping costs by picking up from a Tirerack local warehouse. But ive moved another hour further now days so that doesnt make it anymore ideal.
Hey all,
Been doing alot of browsing, reading, video watching, etc on this subject. But i need to determine what wheels and tires to put on the truck. Ill try to keep it simple. Please keep in mind i never had a truck, so be nice :D.
The Off Road seems to come stock with 17" wheels with...
Tried to look around \ find videos. But just curious, does the limited trim, or any trim for that matter have courtesy lights in the rear doors? OR do all Tacomas only have them in the front driver and passenger doors?
Can check out my build thread. Im also in the middle ofbuilding a one off animated set of fangs right now. I need to find someone to give me an OEM plastic trim set to work out some kinks.

Thanks for the info timetoeatpotatoes. I actually just got a personal phone call from Cody the owner. He explained everything. It is drop shipping in this case and he explained why on prinsus side its taking a while for them to ship these racks right now. Long story short, Cody was very...
Has anyone ever ordered something from AspireAutoAccessories? Seems heavy in the toyota department. I purchased a Prinsu Pro rack almost 3 weeks ago now and have yet to get tracking or evidence of shipment. Ive emailed twice over the period of 7 days and have yet to get a reply back. Wondering...
Has anyone got any experience in a fly rod carrier? I only have a prinsu roof rack and a n OEM tonneau cover so I cant install bed rails.
So if I install a fly rod carrier I'd imagine it could still only mount to the roof rack but would just hang way out over the hood of the truck ?
Only thing that's misleading is you say "pull off safely go back into 2 wheel drive". That sounds like you're inferring that you need to come to a complete stop to go from 4hi to 2hi.
I read\saw somewhere that the PRO fender flares a little wider\bigger then what comes on the Off Road. Is this true? IF so, anyone have any good comparison shots of that and are they a direct bolt on to an Off Road?
