Also, some glare off the dash onto the window that the Redtiger F7N picks up when it's sunny. Not surprising because it doesn't sit against the glass or have a shroud around it. It's mostly around the corners of the video (like the JBL speaker shows up in the lower right) so is just mildly...
Update: My 5-pin adapter from @Dongar arrived today. Super simple install and works flawlessly so I was able to remove the cord running to the 12v "cigarette lighter" outlet.
Lot of people really like that scoop. Kind of makes it stand out from the pack a bit so I get it. Cosmetically, I'd rather have the contrasting fender flares, etc. but to each his/her own. Really, just need to buy an OR then find someone with a sport of the same color who doesn't care for the...
Installed the Redtiger F7N with interior rear camera in mine tonight and I'm very happy with it so far. good image even on the rear with minimal lighting. Also very small and tucked up nicely by the rearview mirror so it's not intrusive at all.
It's not direct wired yet but I will get it wired...
Can't speak for 2024 specifically but I've had an OR and Sport in the last 5 years and the sport is definitely stiffer. Handles fast cornering better but also grabs on to every bump/pothole and lets you know it's there. The OR suspension sort of "floats" over potholes and bumps so you feel them...
I waffled back and forth on it but after watching a couple videos of people installing both, I decided to go with HD. The image is much crisper and the location of the screen in a Tacoma means it's not likely to get a lot of direct sunlight so glare should be minimal unless the moonroof is open...
I chose Solar Octane because:
I miss my Inferno Red which was really more orange than red - depending on lighting. Only thing that came close was the Voodoo Blue I had after it.
For the OR with the black accents like the fender flares, the contrast really makes for an awesome look
My mother's...

I've not used any of them personally but have seen decent reviews for previous model years. Their Nerf step is similar design to the predator but it has more rounded edges. The one thing I...
Realtruck expects to have their Truxedo Sentry line ready for 2024 in April or May.
They just rolled out a few soft and hard covers this week for some of their other brands so hopefully the good stuff (Truxedo and BAK) soon.
Same as @Dansflhti. My 2024 should arrive at the dealer today and they have the predator steps ordered to install for me (not sure if they have them yet). But on my last 2 Tacomas they have lined up perfectly. I was going to just skip the steps on this one since they weren't on the build I...
Any space behind the fuse box? As in, if we 3d print different mounting brackets for the fuse box could we recess it enough to make room for a fuse-tap? The cover itself would not go back on, of course, but maybe we can get clearance for the dash panel.
Barring that, wonder if we could...
I suspect it's because turn signals use a "make-and-break" relay to create the blinking effect. Those would not work well with LEDs so they'd have to reproduce it in the car's electronics. Additionally, people are used to the clicking sound created by said relay so that also would need to be...
Looks like Realtruck is rolling out a few products on some of their brands. Hopefully BAK and Truxedo soon. https://realtruck.com/c/exterior-accessories/tonneau-covers/v/toyota/tacoma/2024/
Fairly sure the 4th gen isn't a perfect rectangle at the top of the cargo area where the 3rd gen was. So brackets probably need adapted to compensate for the slight taper.
FYI: I contacted Realtruck (BAK, Truxedo, etc. brands) about a week ago and this was the response. I specifically asked about the Truxedo Sentry CT but seems like he's may be making a general statement about all their brands/models.
I'm seeing that a lot on tonneau covers but I've had 4 different sets from Coverking over the years including for 3rd gen about 1 month after they started shipping and they were spot on so I think Coverking does their research. I guess we'll see in about a week when they arrive. They have a...
