It’s required by US law that all new vehicles have a backup camera. So, the MTM and Premium “option” is the only option? Then, I assume, that that would be “standard” and a massive starting price difference than what’s listed. Maybe I’m reading something incorrectly.
Me too! TRD OR hybrid in Bronze Oxide. I think you’re right on the price; it’s really looking that way. 55 is a lot more than the 36 I paid for my TRD OR in 2015. I wonder if the Pro will be similar in price to the TRD OR hybrid.
I noticed the same thing. It must be an option only with the iForce Max version, which also requires an 18” wheel as opposed to the standard 17” on the non-Max version. Just a guess!
Ah, Nitto Trail Grappler M/T 275/70 R18. They look pretty good! I assume 33.6” will fit well then. I wonder how much wider and less offset one can do without going wild with chopping. I also wonder if a 17” rim will fit on the hybrid models. I’d much prefer 17s. I could be happy with 275/70...
Me too, I reserved an OR in Bronze Oxide. I’m excited!
I was unaware that dealerships made people drive a different car/truck than the one they hope to purchase. I don’t think that’s common here in America, but I could be wrong. I never heard of a “dummy truck” but it might make sense to me as...
There isn’t an ordering process for Toyota. I assume you’d have to purchase an aftermarket hood and replace it, which would likely be very expensive. There’s little chance it will be an option. One of my (and others’) reasons for opting for an OR is for the absence of the scoop. Looks cool at...
Thanks for the info! Sounds like you’ve done your research and I’m happy to hear your predictions amid my continued curiosity.
Do you think the OR hybrid and TH will both start at the same price, 54k+? I was assuming the price difference between the two was going to be significant, especially...
Great video! Finally got my question answered about the seat’s ability to raise up. ? I’m 5’6 and like seeing well above the dash, which might be especially important with the giant screen. I wish the seats were cloth instead of plastic, but oh well.
I have one remaining question incase anyone...
I wonder if the new Tacoma can fit 17” wheels. I’m getting the TRD Off Road. Maybe the larger brakes only fit in an 18” wheel? It’s nice seeing one lifted like this; I’ll be doing something very similar.
