Fuel Rincon (blackout) 18x9 -12mm offset, BFG KO2 305/65r18. Might do the TRD lift option (I think it’s Billstein currently), or maybe they’ll offer the OME from the TH as an option. I’m not sure how that works though since they’d need to install it. Might be better to just do an aftermarket...
2.5” or 3” suspension lift. 305/65r18 (33.6 x 12), 18 x 9 wheel -12 offset. If the truck fits 17 inch wheels, I might do something slightly different. But, I think 17” wheel might not fit with the new brakes.
Does anyone know if there will be a difference in the truck if getting the optional 33" tires vs. the standard smaller size (aside from the tire size, of course)? In other words, will the truck be calibrated or tuned (if you will) differently for the larger sized tires? I'll be upgrading...
I’ll take the better sound system and really don’t want a giant computer screen on my dash. It’s hard to imagine why anyone would, but to each their own.
275/70r18 (33.2"). 275 is pretty narrow (skinny) and will be an easier fit. I think a 305/65r18 might just work, but I'm also not sure I want an 18" wheel. I am definitely going to get Fuel wheels with a -12mm offset.
There is a 33" option, but it's an actual 32.6 and a 265 width. So, I assume...
I just spoke to a Toyota salesperson at a local dealership and he is adding me to the waitlist for an Off Road iForce Max after I complete a deposit of $1,000. He emailed me an invoice for the 1,000, but there's no description of what for. He mentioned that it is refundable, but can I trust...
I wonder if this Tacoma OR will fit , 295/70r17, 305/65r18s, or even 295/70r18s with a few inches of lift. I really like the truck and this video was excellent! I'm not sure I dig the extended wheel base just yet, but I think I can get used to it.
If you look at the videos and images of the 2024 OR, (I think) the fender flares are not nearly as glossy as what’s seen here on the Pro (at least from my perspective). I could be wrong, and am just speculating like anyone else; but, I’m guessing the OR (and TH maybe) has matte/satin-like fender...
Yeah, weird. Snorkel looks awful in my opinion. Maybe it won’t come with one as an option and they’re just road testing it on the Pro model. I’d consider a Pro without those seats. Terra looks cool; certainly looks appropriately named from the photos.
I agree! I think I’ll do an Off Road iForce Max, which won’t be available until the spring, apparently. I’m curious about the options and what changes come with the 33” tires. I assume the truck will be tuned/calibrated for the bigger tires, so it won’t be too off when I size up to 34/35s. I...
Will the dealerships attempt to give you a bad deal on price if you don’t use their financing (I assume that’s where they make most of their money)? I’d like to just purchase my truck free from the archaic dealership rigmarole.
I thought these models were coming with 33” tires. The photo of the TH looks to have a 265/70 r18 (32.6”). I guess rounding up is normal(?). That’s a significant difference.
I love these trucks in black! I’m undecided on what color and model I will get.
Is this still going to be the case with Toyota? Toyota must be the last company (or close to it) to not allow ordering of desired specifications. Maybe Toyota will finally make that change. I will likely purchase a TRD OR, but really don’t want a 14 inch tablet in the middle of my dash. I also...
I agree. From the photo, it appears that this is really only a two-seat truck. If people can fit in the back, bumping one’s knees into the shocks would seem problematic.
