I quite like them; I have them open sometimes when I'm out cruising around or on the beach. If I wanted a convertible truck I would have bought a Gladiator.. but having a Sunroof is the next best thing to enjoying a beautiful day when you're out in the wilderness doing some exploring.
I'm not sure if mine was supposed to be delivered 3/16, the spreadsheet originally said ETA 3/16. Anyways I got a call from the dealer and said they were looking at a 3/16 build and a 4/5 ETA and the spreadsheet confirms.

Dealerships are going to take your money from you, one way or another. Leases are good if interest rates are low, you don't plan on driving much and need a low payment, and you're forced to pay whatever interest rate the dealership wants to put on you. Ownership will always trump...
I wonder how bad the markups are going to be?
They start at 58K and a few dealerships near me already have a few on order for about 58k as well. Personally I would have preferred a Tremor (if they are going to make one) or a Wildtrak.. but I'm also not too sure about the long term reliability...
My dealership told me my 3/16 build is on the boat making it's way to Houston.. built in Baja and starts with 3TM; so after I pick it up if I have any issues I'll report back here.. but I bet dvolman is right..

I would never lease a car in this economy. You're going to get stuck with a high payment that as soon as interests rates drop you're stuck with your high lease payment while everyone else with a car loan refinances and gets a lower rate. You can't refinance a lease.
It s a brand new model, there aren't many options. CaliLED has one they've announced as has CBI Fabs, not sure if they're for sale yet.
Be patient. It's better to spend money on a solid product that was thoroughly tested rather than on a product that was rushed and falls apart.
I was thinking about this the other day.. my daily commuter is a 2020 VW Jetta SEL.. EPA gave it I think 40mpg hwy but usually on my morning commute I often get 50, but most of it is downhill; going home it's about 30ish. Of course that's VW mileage so take it with a grain of salt.. but I...
