I've never bought new tires to replace.. well new tires. I got a quote from my local discount tire.. for my OEM tires on my ORP, they are saying they'll give me $50 a tire, BFG Trail Terrain 265/70-17. These retail for just over $200ish and they said I probably would get more if I tried to...
I'm in San Antonio; I've seen 2 other 4G's on the road.. several dealerships in the city with lower model stock.. but at the end of the day I don't see many people being able to afford or willing to shell out 40k+ for a mid sized truck when the interest rates are high. I think the DC in...
I did mine earlier today... took about 15 minutes. All it was was 1 overtightened screw. Turned the fan on and started to back the screws out little by little and as soon as I started to loosen the first screw, the fan noise stopped. The culprit was the silver screw on the bottom right. Didn't...
My passenger seat is noticeably loud too, I didn't realize there were two fans. So you just loosened the fan assembly and that gave enough room to clear any warped blades?
Lot's of variables but here's mine in the first week of ownership:
Daily commute is 26 miles, 95% highway. Morning is mostly down hill but typically into the wind. Driving at 65-68mph on cruise I have seen an average of 25. Afternoon is up hill, but typically with the wind. I see an average...
I have the OEM but was also thinking about roxblokz. I don't think anyone's done aftermarket mud flaps yet. Doesn't Rokblokz have kind of universal ones where you just have to trim and drill your own holes?
So far my experience with wireless apple carplay is pretty good. My VW Jetta requires wired. I tried it on a 2023 VW Atlas and ran into intermitted connection issues where it would just freeze. So far I haven't had any issues with any of the systems.
Correct. Not sure who put it in an envelope, at first I asked if it was a wad of cash. My guess is he just never looked inside it and whoever put it in there didn't pass the word on.
Just picked my OR Premium last night; I'm 6'3 and test drove both a Sport w/ out the moonroof and of course mine with a sunroof. There is far more headroom without the moonroof, but with the sunroof I have about 2 or 3 inches. I don't know about the manual seats but I have fully adjustable...
OR Premium. Remote start is possible through the Toyota app but I don't think my FOB has any remote start buttons. Is that a thing or is through the app only?
EDIT: Nvm we figured it out.

Confirmed this also worked for my iPhone.
When I first signed in to the app, I had it immediately tie to my Google account instead of a phone number; and even though it was sending me verification codes to my phone, it wasn't accepting the code. As soon as I signed in with my phone #, it made...
I almost bought a new Ranger instead of a 4G Taco, the thing that stopped me was Ford delaying the release of the Ranger in the US, and I'm glad I chose Toyota. Toyota has always had more aftermarket support than any other manufacturer but the biggest dealbreaker for me was the interior; I'm...
Probably wouldn't see any noticeable gain. These trucks all have a turbocharger, the compressed air is going to heat up quite a bit. Best to wait to see if anyone fabricates a better flowing or larger intercooler.
I'm still new to 3D printing but I found out the hardway that PLA sucks when left in cars.. so what material is good for the summer heat, PETG? I haven't tried ABS or nylon yet because I don't have an enclosure
Get what you feel you need. If you need rear seat leg room, buy a full size truck. The only mid-size truck with descent legroom in the back is the Honda Ridgeline.
