  1. Brake Recall Completed

    Thanks for the pictures, Clint!
  2. 4th gen Tacoma transmission fluid change DIY

Works for me, too. Think that's a darned good reason and why I keep the thermostat's gauge on my dash display.
  3. Brake Recall Completed

Do you think they actually did anything? How do you know?
  4. New Recall Notice?

Let us know what they do - pictures - if possible. Like others, I'm told no fix yet.
  5. Trailhunter auxiliary gas tank

I couldn't find a comment area when I logged on earlier, nor just now. Glad it worked for you.
  6. Trailhunter auxiliary gas tank

I signed on, but was disappointed they didn't give us a choice (I know, can't make everyone happy) between replacement tank or aux tank, as long as it's under bed.... We'll see.
  7. Is my trans beginning to fail?

Definitely depends on your dealership and the service dept they have. There are a couple in my area (150 mile radius) that have great service depts. Whether I buy from the dealership again or not remains to be seen, but couldn't ask for better service. Just sayin'
  8. Locking up wheels - thought it was the brakes, now seems to be transmission?

I run 35 lbs in my E rated AT's and haven't noticed that problem at all. 32 lbs creates too much unnecessary tire wear, IMO.
  9. TRD Off Road in Terra color

I really like the Terra color on the new Taco's. Wife said "NO," she was sure parking that in the garage with her candy apple red Camry would start a fire.:crackup:
  10. 2025 Wind Chill Pearl Limited Chrome Delete build

    Very tastefully done.
  11. Is my trans beginning to fail?

I had no real noticeable issues with the transmission before it failed. The only 'thing' seemed to be poorer gas mileage than I expected. When it failed, the pickup worked fine until it failed to move from a stoplight. Moved shift lever all around, but still stalled. When I shifted the...
  12. [Solved] Help! Sway bar nut already rusted to bolt?

Big part of the reason for this forum. Not all of us are born with this knowledge so now we're a little smarter - and we know the OP has a sense of humor as well.
  13. First time Truck Owner.

Congratulations! Starting with a Tacoma you'll be spoiled in a good way.
  14. New Release: LED Fog Lights Kit for 2024–2025 Toyota Tacoma

Do you have a video of them working as fog lights, then turn signals, then hazard lights?
  15. Advice on Towing Setup with Stock 2024 TRD OR Pulling a Small Camper

I've not towed with this Gen 4 TRD OR, but did a lot with the Gen 3. Do you tow all the time or just once in a while? What level of comfort and performance do you want most of the time? Does your pickup get you down the road when towing? If you look on some RV websites you'll find weight police...
  16. California C4 Fabrication Tacoma Rock Sliders / 4th Gen / Already powder coated, never installed.

Why would these not fit? "Custom rear 3 link," are they not made for some 4th gen Tacoma's?
  17. Anyone else’s A/C absolute garbage at anything under 25mph?

Snowman asked a good question. As long as the switch is on and the green light is lit for A/C, the regular driving mode is needed to make the A/C work effectively. In eco mode the computer minimizes the A/C, defrost, etc. functions. Found that out on the wife's Camry hybrid and seems to hold...
  18. Control aftermarket lights with high beam lever (in addition to high beams)?

Toyota had nothing to do with my install. It was all the shop owner, common sense, and me. To your point however generally it is illegal to have auxiliary lights lighted when meeting other traffic in my state.
  19. Control aftermarket lights with high beam lever (in addition to high beams)?

Same as Sagebrush, on the '19 we wired my light bar thru a toggle and the high-beam wire. Both had to be activated for the bar to work. Have not gone there yet with my '24.
  20. Cracked Windshield Advice Wanted

That wasn't the intent at the time the replacement was installed, but once the features wouldn't work and the dealership couldn't calibrate it, the shop and insurance co worked with Toyota for a fix. I think everyone took a hit by the time it was done as OEM glass was the only thing that worked...
