Off-road premium with 4k miles. Smooth. I always let it idle about 1-2 minutes before I back out of my garage. Built in January but wasn’t delivered until mid-May. Guessing it was getting several QC holds while also waiting for the sway bar disconnect.
Same here. I made them send me the PDI punch list and low and behold the tire pressure was checked. Made me question every check mark on there and if it was actually inspected. My ride got smoother instantly when put to correct psi.
I’ve purchased 4 new vehicles in my lifetime. 3 Tacoma’s and my FJ Cruiser brand new 2007. Drove it 17 years until my most recent purchase of a 2024 Tacoma TRD Off Road - Premium package. FJ was flawless from the day I bought it till I sold it to buy the newest Tacoma.
First off, I love my new...
Well, got the PDI from service manager and of course tire pressure box was checked. Which tells me that there could be much more on that list that is checked off but really wasn’t actually inspected. Lost trust in that service department.
The funny thing is… in that text he says he did ask service. At least I have the proof that he said it - half tempted to send it to his manager. But they all just back each other up at dealerships anyway.
Soooo thanks to great forums like this, I read the Tacoma’s come in with over-inflated (50 psi) for shipping purposes and a bunch of you guys said before you drive off check psi. Welp in all the excitement I forgot. Get home to see I’m at 50 psi. I text my sales dude about it and see attached...
What kind of world do we live in that you can spend 60k and the dealer doesn’t even throw in floor mats?! Like throw some recycled cardboard in there at least!!! Just not how it used to be anymore I guess.
