  1. Adding Stickers to Rear Window??

No stickers go on my truck. But I have a killer sticker collage under the lid of my oldest rolling tool box. It's at least two layers thick by now.
  2. BF Goodrich All Terrain replacing Stock Generals

That's a pretty big size jump so you may rub at stock height. https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc?tires=265-65r18-285-70r18 Your gearing will be off by 6.8% and your transmission will hunt for gears more on hills, or while loaded. Odometer will be off by the same amount. Speedo will likely be...
  3. Door Drain Hole Plugs, Why?

I looked them up - part number 67837-47060. They are supposed to allow water to drain under them. If your truck is parked outside, either frequent drain cleaning or removal of these covers will probably be needed.
  4. Door Drain Hole Plugs, Why?

Can you take a pic of the other side? (See next post - I found it) They usually allow passage of water, but provide some sealing against dust and bugs from getting in. Perhaps yours were clogged.
  5. Found under my 24 Tacoma- Help identifying

I'm 99.9% sure that's not from any Toyota. Toyota is very consistent with their hardware and plugs, and that looks like nothing I've ever seen. Especially with a slot. I did a quick Google image search and it could be a Primary Drive fill cap from a motorcycle, perhaps a BSA or Triumph.
  6. Wave Maker is the new 2026 Tacoma TRD Pro Color [Video Added]

Well that's.... Something. ? It's definitely a polarizing color. I doubt anyone will be neutral about it!
  7. Premium Fuel or Regular

I run 92, and I mostly notice the power delivery improvement. Less chuggy in the low revs especially. Fuel economy hasn't noticably changed but my driving has been really inconsistent which makes it hard to get a baseline. The dyno tests have proven a power increase, so the ECU is obviously...
  8. [Muslogy] We Want to Hear From You! New Cargo Net Design in the Works

That's an OEM net from his 4runner. Our RAV4 came with a smaller version of the same thing.
  9. [Muslogy] We Want to Hear From You! New Cargo Net Design in the Works

No, this is a bad idea. Bed bolts are Torque To Yield AKA stretch bolts. Once removed, they need to be trashed and replaced with new bolts. Reusing them WILL cause them to loosen over time and in this case it will cause bed rattles.
  10. Limitations to factory AUX buttons?

Yep. Easy peasy. Get a quality relay harness with a socket, and a quality brand name relay (not some cheap China junk), and you can just use butt connectors between the relay harness, aux plug, ground wire to a bolt in the engine bay (a bracket on the inner fender works well), and a power wire...
  11. Limitations to factory AUX buttons?

The owner's manual lists the current capacity of each Aux Switch circuit. I would stay under 80% of that value. If you want to use that switch for more current, use the Aux Switch circuit to actuate a relay that is fed straight from the battery.
  12. Need Help - Long Bed Running Boards

I've always had sliders on my trucks, but went with the OEM TRD Cast Aluminum Running Boards for my new long bed Taco. They are great as running boards and don't hang any lower than good sliders (visual priority for me). I'm staunchly against wheeling this truck, so I didn't want the thought of...
  13. Sxth Element TRC1 vs. Pedal Commander

Mileage will suffer, because all it's doing is simulating your foot pushing the gas pedal farther/quicker than it actually is. Which can also be done by... Pushing the gas pedal farther or quicker with your foot.
  14. Sxth Element TRC1 vs. Pedal Commander

Ah, you're trying to reduce power. Have you tried putting the truck in Eco Mode? That will do more than any pedal controller - pedal response, shift points, and boost curves. All that any pedal controller can do is electronically replicate moving the pedal more/less, or faster/slower (which can...
  15. Opening power tailgate if truck has dead battery?

Unfortunately, I'm 99% sure there is no tailgate solution that doesn't involve restoring 12V power. Everything is the mechanism is electronic and would need to be accessed from inside the bed by disassembling the tailgate panel. I also wouldn't carry a booster pack in the bed though due to PNW...
  16. Texas How To Pay for Stuff

Use PayPal Goods And Services for sure, and use a credit card where you have a long account history and good customer service in case you need to dispute the transaction. Then you'll have two layers of protection, as will the seller. If the seller is shipping the suspension, it's in their best...
  17. Sxth Element TRC1 vs. Pedal Commander

Serious question..... Why? Just put it in Sport Mode. It alters the pedal response, boost curves, shift points, and more.
  18. 20 HP / 14 lb-ft torque gain from 91 Octane gas on Tacoma Gas Engine 2.4 i-Force (dyno tested by Stillen)

The Tech has no idea how the ECU is tuned by Toyota engineers. And it's already been proven the the ECU will adjust for 91/92 octane fuel (likely with timing advance, but could be more parameters too). It's a proven power increase. And if Toyota ECU programming does it stock, it's perfectly...
  19. **RANT** Disabling LDA permanently...

You're in Canada, right? (I saw Km on your display). Maybe this is a Canada thing? Did you turn off ALL of the PDA functions? Others seem to have no problem turning everything off on their 2025. Either your truck is different than everyone else, or you're doing something different.
  20. **RANT** Disabling LDA permanently...

Huh? I went in my settings through the gauge cluster and turned it off, along with all the PDA Proactive Driving Assist functions. It has stayed off for months.
