my sr5 has the Manuel a/c system and here’s my question, I noticed when I set the temperature dial to the coldest setting the air blows through the vents hard, when I move the temperature dial up one notch the air flow slightly decrease almost like the fan slows down a bit without touching the...
First time driving my sr5 on the interstate and through the mountains of Pennsylvania for 180 plus miles. Waited 1k miles during break in to take her out on highway. This truck really impressed me , was super smooth and comfortable and quiet . The engine was incredible with the power delivery...
I’m taking my truck on its first “long” trip, 184 miles round trip up to the mountains of Pennsylvania. Must say I’m a bit nervous. I’m right in the sweet spot of failures. 1100 miles lol
Yeah it’s definitely noisy , get some feedback from the engine through the driveline into the cabin but it’s a truck completely normal and way smoother than my 3rd gen Tacoma was. That truck was awful the vibrations were ungodly I feel terrible for the next person who buys that truck
Good luck with other brand of vehicles chief… you bought a truck with a warranty, the best brand out there. Shit happens, sucks but to say it’s your last Toyota, you’ll be looking to come back after to test the waters of other manufactures
Really sad this is still happening. The engineer Sheldon brown said it was a couple bad transmissions early on and it was taken care of. Clearly not the case
Pretty much describes my truck. Mine does this weird thing sometimes too when letting off the gas in stop and go traffic and then coming to a stop I get this 1 sec rumble strip vibration/shudder coming from the rear of the truck. Only does it occasionally.
Im at 1k miles, love my 4th gen. Only thing I’ll say negative is the transmission can be kinda wacky until it warms up. Occasional weird shift. Yesterday it shifted perfectly even when cold though.
