I'm a little confused about this. So it's an Xtra cab SR with TRD OR wheels and an applied previous gen TRD OR badge? The unpainted rear bumper tells me it is not a TRD. And by the looks of the Toyota website, the Xtra cab is only available in TRD Pre Runner.
I haven’t fully put them to the test yet unfortunately. Haven’t done much real off-roading with it yet. They have Instagram and I’m sure plenty of people have put them to the test! From what I’ve heard, it’s a much more progressive feeling vs a hard stop.
We've went on several family road trips in my dad's trucks but the most notable thing is he has helped me out many times with hauling things prior to me owning a truck, and I'll always appreciate him for that!
That could be yeah. I think in my photo with the tree that’s later in the day I had it switched to parking mode. I park in the garage and it does the same thing but it doesn’t bother me at all.
I just have my lights set to automatic. The DRLs will be on at all times and the headlights will turn on automatically.
Edit: I may have modified it with Carista but I can’t remember. I don’t believe I did.
That's my biggest con with these tires and also why I was highly debating the Toyo Open Country AT3s but I couldn't get over the boring sidewall on those and the great reviews on these. 15 miles a day city driving for the most part so I got over it lol. I might try something else next time!
Thanks I appreciate it! I’m debating on getting just 10mm wheel spacers but money can be better spent elsewhere.
I think just a minimal level would be all I would need. It only rubbed on the driver side when turning in reverse. That’s on pavement but I have not tested it off road yet so we’ll...
Yeah I totally get that. I just have stock tires to compare it to and coming from an Audi S4 no matter what it’s not as planted. I do minimal freeway driving so it doesn’t affect me much but I could see how one would want something that feels different. I think the bounce when hitting uneven...
I’m not sure what just the windshield would be. $150 maybe. I did tint and PPF all at once so I don’t know the breakdown. The windshield is 50% and the two front windows(driver and passenger) are at 30% to match the rear windows.
I think it's great. I can't tell there's a film on there. It's very clear just like any tint nowadays. Of course it's a slightly harder to see at night but it's not much and does not bother me, Especially with how bright the OEM lights are. Once you get down to 20% it will be a lot harder to see...
I really don't think tinting tail lights is a good idea for rear end visibility. If you really don't like them, a few brands make replacement tail lights. Alpharex is one of them.
Hello everyone! I thought I'd finally add my 2024 TRD Off-Road premium to the build list here! Purchased the truck in June 2024 and have been chipping away at upgrades. The goal is to be able to camp and do some light off roading with it as well as my daily driver. The color and spec is exactly...
