While you are correct, a dual injected engine can still have build up of oil in the charge pipes ad intercooler. which is why a oil catch can will still be beneficial for our trucks.
BMS and SXTH are solid options. I like the HPS one but idk if the lines being too long will cause any issues in the long run. I've read on a you tube video on some people getting a CEL from running the HPS.
Coming from a 600hp integra, and a FBO stage 1 tune 330i, its definitely worth it. I do a lot of camping with my family so its much more convenient for me to have a truck than a sports car. sometimes i wish i would have gotten a truck a long time ago.
no, ethanol sensors have to be purchased separately from a tune. it is needed to run e85 and know your exact content. my truck is currently running e30 with the fuel it ethanol sensor kit. I'm tuned by CAMTUNING.
CAMTuning did a comparison on both intakes and they are almost identical! So whatever you choose, you’ll get the same outcome. If you’re looking for the turbo sound, then SXTH takes it! SXTH intake is way louder than the Banks! I have mishimoto intake and I’m pretty happy with it.
Amazing work Cam! What the people needed and you made it happen! This will definitely help everyone understand and decide which intake to get for their truck!
You think just upgrading the HPFP would be enough? or upgrading HPFP and Injectors? really want to push the platform to its limits. reminds me of the b58 and b48 engines in BMWs and the supra.
My MPG stayed roughly the same. i was getting 19.5 to the gallon with 91oct. Now with e30, I'm now getting 19.1. so the change wasn't drastic. Mixing the fuel isn't a headache since the app tells you exactly how much ethanol and pump gas to put into your truck. i do let it idle for at least...
Just wanted to get on here and share my experience with tuning my daily Tacoma. Seems like everyone's first mod on their trucks are wheels and tires. Coming from the Honda game, i didn't realize how heavy a set of wheels and tires was going to be for my truck. I definitely felt a decrease in...
