The Panda 2025 Tacoma was on the dyno for additional R&D testing as we continue our development work for this platform. This round of testing focused on pushing the limits of the factory setup with E30 fuel and seeing how much additional power could be unlocked from the stock truck.
Starting completely stock, the Tacoma put down 247 whp and 296 wtq on our Dynojet. After developing the Panda 93 Tune, the truck picked up a strong improvement, increasing output to 276 whp and 343 wtq. That’s a gain of +29 whp and +47 wtq while still running the factory hardware.
We then moved to our Panda E30 Tune, taking advantage of the increased octane and improved knock resistance. The Tacoma finished the session at 305 whp and 357 wtq, gaining an additional +29 whp and +14 wtq over the 93 octane calibration and a total improvement of +58 whp and +61 wtq from stock.
These are impressive gains for a completely stock truck, and this is only the beginning for the 2024+ Tacoma platform. We will be continuing our R&D testing with additional hardware upgrades, starting with an exhaust. Then we will also be adding an intake and intercooler upgrade. to see how much more power and efficiency we can extract from this new platform.
Stay tuned as we continue to develop and test the PandaTune calibrations and performance packages for the next-generation Tacoma. We’re just getting started!
