Not true. Ranger Raptor comes fully loaded for its price and there are no packages to be added.
I was all in on the new trd pro until the pricing came out. I was #1 on my Toyota dealer's list, but told them at this price I was a no go.
Bought a ranger raptor instead with no mark up.
The trd...
The loss of 8 way power seats and going to manual recline on an over $60k trd pro is a no go for me. That's ridiculous. I'll stick with my Ranger raptor order, I guess.
Be fun when they get their hands on an imax. I'm not interested in the smaller engine at all. I'm excited to see what true mpg will be and how it performs with all of the low end torque.
Had a loaded 2019 trd pro and dumped it as it was so underpowered. Could barely make it up a big hill. Was...
Lucky you and congrats! I have to wait for the imax motor to become available and then for my dealer to get allocation for a trd pro. So not planning on seeing it til summer, if I'm lucky.
Tuned my 2021 ranger tremor and get up to 23/24 hwy in summer months at 75 mph. 19 to 20 town, usually. Worse in winter when leave running with heat on.
Abandoning my rager raptor order and am now first on list for trd pro at my local dealer. Willing to wait for what I want. Underground with black interior is first choice. Ice cap with black interior is second.
My dealer friend has gone to two toyota events where they saw new product. He flat told me that if I truly needed to haul people in the back seat of my tacoma, the trd pro might not be the way to go due to the new front seats in it. So unfortunately, I think it could be an issue for some...
100%. More powerful engine and far better transmission pairing are #1 (current pairing is underpowered, and shifts abysmally). Better comfort and seating position would be a close #2.
