I'm actually ordering my springs from r4t I live in Denver where they are. I'm going with Alldog leveling springs in the front and the icon triple rates in the rear. Keeping the Bilsteins shocks for now. And I found a company online selling the factory Pro ucas for less then what the dealership...
Has anyone upgraded the factory Trd Or uca with the pro uca? If so did you notice a difference. Or is it ileven worth going oem to OEM? Most ppl I see go with an aftermarket set up and I'm not sure I want to do that.
What's different between the hybrid and non hybrid mats? I have a hybrid but guess I never paid attention to the floor mats honestly. I was going to order some Rc all weather to match my seats
I've read this numerous times! Great article about these little engines. As mentioned above I think they are needed up pretty good to handle the turbo and the abuse Toyota knows these trucks go through.
I just took my resonator/ tail pipe section off this weekend and it sounds a lot better. Debating on how to an exhaust shop or getting the turn down pipe from Toyota till Awe confirms their exhaust will fit the hybrid.
Pretty sure the pro is just a resonator delete and a tailpipe. Same muffler...
Yea I definitely didn't buy the hybrid version for mileage. The power was the main reason, I'm coming from a 96 4Runner and an 05 WRX anything over 20mpg is great for me! Especially on a truck running 33s.
I definitely do not drive super crazy but I don't hyper mile. I think I've only used eco...
If you guys weren't 1700 miles one way I'd be there in a heart beat! I'll keep checking in, and John put me on a list to be notified when fitment is confirmed or availability for the hybrid is starting.
I need the HYBRID model!! If I was closer you could test fit the system on my truck but I'm in Colorado. I emailed you guys today to ask if there are clearance issues, unfortunately can't confirm or deny yet. ?
This system looks and sounds betr then the magnaflow in my opinion! I can't wait!
I've seen some non hybrids getting 28/30 on highway but not in town. I'm still stoked on it either way.
And no I wasn't driving like in 107 that was just simple cruising around. 30-45 mph.
Idk it's always lower then what the trip says. Probably cause the night before I wasn't driving nice trying to get home to tuck my daughter in.
Even after fulling my tank it still says I only have 287 miles of range
This is for anyone saying the Hybrids aren't worth it as they don't get betr mpg!
(Yes I was in sport and manual mode when I took the picture! I was waiting at a busy intersection waiting to turn on a red light)
This was my average trip mileage driving around town running errands with my...
Little build update. Rolled the bed out in Herculiner this weekend! Looks great! All said an done about 4/5 hrs of prep and rolling and then 1.5 hrs to dry in between coats. I did two layers and laid it down thick. We will see how it holds up!
Makes me feel betr most ppl have the hard shift. Still hoping it goes away in another few thousand miles. Also being the hybrid I really haven't thought about it that much. I think at my 5k service I'm going to politely request a full transmission flush just to check everything. I know I'll get...
Off road Hybrid, she likes to warm up in the morning or I get a hard 1-2 shift once she gets some heat in here not bad at all. Some hard shifts here and there nothing crazy. I play in sport mode manual mode and have gotten on it a few times to over pass ppl and dink around. I have 3500 miles on...
I have the RC ones and I have the hybrid model they do the trick just fine. Not the easiest to get strapped but not hard by any means. I do have to take my drive one off and have the truck looked at for the heated seat not shutting off.
Otherwise I really like the look finish and feel of the RC
To each their own I guess! No hesitation from a stop at all! My mother's Cherokee trail hawk hesitates when it turns on with the auto off feature. I'm assuming our trucks do the same and that's why you wanted it disabled?
