Has anyone upgraded the factory Trd Or uca with the pro uca? If so did you notice a difference. Or is it ileven worth going oem to OEM? Most ppl I see go with an aftermarket set up and I'm not sure I want to do that.

Totally worth the money to upgrade your suspension and upper control arms. I would not go with the pro or the trail hunter package from Toyota.
In fact, I wouldn't go with any package. Toyota is trying to sell you because none of them perform like what a package from king, and I just about bet it will be cheaper.
My local toyota dealership in Olympia, installed the lift so that I would not avoid my warranty..
I upgraded my TRD OR suspension with a package that running for tacos sold me.
I would talk to twan at running for tacos. He is amazing..
The package was the total chaos king coil over package. .I added rear Dobson, 819 coil Springs because of the weight I run and added new king drop links as well.
The way this truck handles is amazing. With the new suspension and my Pizza cutter tires. I can go just about anywhere..đź‘€

I'm actually ordering my springs from r4t I live in Denver where they are. I'm going with Alldog leveling springs in the front and the icon triple rates in the rear. Keeping the Bilsteins shocks for now. And I found a company online selling the factory Pro ucas for less then what the dealership wants for them. Wife won't let me order the king or fox package yet. So we comprised with a spring kit to start.

Really wondering if the billet pro uca will do much other than suspension geo correction if even that. Or just fancy billet looks is all. Having a factory balljoint over a uniball sounds nice also. I'll have to email Twan and get his opinion or when I go in Monday ask him.

Truck looks great though! Very clean

I had a similar question as to why people are going aftermarket for uca instead of the billet one Toyota now has. I’m assuming because of the thicker material used and the increased angle provided that the trd ones may or not may not offer.

I’d like to see a video on differences

I just installed Dobinson (C59-822) front coil springs which essentially gave me a 2” lift. Just wanted to know if anyone else has done a dif drop and or upper control arms for a 2” lift or if it’s needed / necessary? I know some of the spacer lift kits go 2 1/4” or even 2 1/2” so I didn’t know if I should be concerned with doing anything additional. I’ve read that anything under 3” of lift doesn’t require any additional work but just trying to cover all the bases.
