Looks horrid. Looking for running boards. I may just buy the Al OEM TRD boards from Toyota and cut off the last attachment bracket and hope for the best. I belive the first 3 attachment points are the same as the double cab.
Nothing too exciting.
Washed and waxed and solved an irritating rattle going over speed bumps and while off road with some foam. The shot is from under the truck looking up at the front bumper shell that was making contact with the inner shell. Dead silent now.
Yes temps are a big deal to me, triple digits in the summer cruising by Death Valley to get to where I am going. I get the hate, the marketing is lame.
Keep us posted on your findings. Seems like Amsoil did pretty good with temp, wear, and turbo. Not great was torque and shear, but I change at 3K so I am not concerned with shear and not cornered with peak torque.
The Restore and Protect sounds intriguing.
Also thanks for the Lake video...funny...
I do 3K oil changes. Old school and likely a waste of money but I am retired so...why not.
I do a lot of hauling heavy dual sport dirt bikes up to the Eastern Sierra and it gets hot in the summer up and down the 395.
