How it should work is you have to set it up every time you exit the vehicle if you plan on remote starting it for your next drive. For vehicles with push to start you have to use the fob to shut it down. It will actually run for a little bit while you get out and it will lock the doors behind...
I had a 2019 mt with an aftermarket starter, installed by the same shop. Unlocking the doors after the truck shut itself off(and locked the doors) would negate the remote start functionality. This new starter doesn't care if the doors are locked or not, obviously a safety issue. I never leave...
Mine acts the same way but I assume it isn't normal because it's simply not accurate. I top off every week after only driving between 50-75 miles. If it takes over 5 gallons then the tank is less than 3/4 full but the gage is showing like 95%.
It happened once to me, the truck stalled because I didn’t know wtf was happening. Simply engaging the clutch would have prevented this. I was accelerating from a rolling stop and had no time to react but normally instinct would kick in and you put I it neutral whenever anything seems off.
I don't really get this statement because the Toyota mat is like 40lbs of thick rubber contoured to the bed. It doesn't move one bit, you would have to roll the truck for it to.
Assuming you meant the cargo in the bed, your new mat looks slippery compared to oem. Gotta wonder how much Lasfit...
I mounted a camera on my canopy's rear window but I just used the usb outlet in the bed to power it. Couldn't be easier, on/off with the truck. I've been using Anker brand for years now because they are simple to use and aren't affected by temperature extremes.
Every manual I've owned has behaved like this, including 3 Tacomas. It's never been frequent, maybe once every couple months or so. I've always just assumed it was an operator error like not having my foot down all the way.
You should have just asked for replacement rubber inserts. The factory blades normally would not need to be changed, just the rubber part. It would have been about $15 for both sides but they wanted to sell you the more expensive option I guess.
Maybe there’s some residue left behind the film? Which is why it should have been removed before the lights were used. The heat may have caused some adhesive to stick to the lights.
I would take a pic then peel it off and see. Whether that film is meant to be there or not, seems like it may...
I was looking into these not long ago. From RealTruck:
There are also OEM boxes but they are even more money($425 msrp.)
PT973-35920-RH and PT973-35920-LH.
LEER certainly isn't afraid of raising prices. One dealer told me they had 6 increases in one year alone. Before tariffs is was the pandemic, then "supply chain issues." I paid $4700 for my XL100 with some add-ons about 6 months ago. It was about $2000(over 42%) more than the one I bought in...
You're going to want aftermarket mud flaps and sliders(or running boards.) Even with stock tires/wheels your paint will get chipped without them. I have RokBlokz Rally flaps but there are certainly other options out there.
