Has anyone located the connector that is in the driver side kick panel? Most videos only talk about the one in the engine bay and at the rear od the truck. I've had a ham radio hooked straight to the battery, but would prefer to utilize the Aux switch.
Toyota certainly does make a tonneau cover for the 2024 Trailhunter. I have one on my truck that I purchased shortly after buying the truck in April, 2024.
Why doesn't this surprise me one bit! Unbelievable that 1 1/2 years plus since it's introduction and Toyota still can't source enough bed scene light harnesses!
They did upgrade/replace the desert air intake cover. I'd had 2 previous 'complaints' about the original design ignored. Toyota really blew it not fixing the early Trailhunters as they knew they had a poor design a d put the entire production on QC hold to fix all the trucks not yet sold.
Wow, hard to believe. 13 months I've owned the truck and 12 months since the diagnosis of an electrical short in the DS bed scene light harness and I finally have working lights!!! I also have the updated desert air intake cover courtesy of the Toyota regional office that responded to my lemon...
That exact 'threat' to buy back my truck got them to magically find a wiring harness and agree to upgrade my intake cover to the new design. Toyota should have issued a TSB to replace all the 1st Gen intake covers, but they didn't.
Quick update. Dealer still has the truck. I don't know yet if bed scene lights and lower snorkel cover are on or not. I'd also had them look at my tailgate getting hung up on my tonneau cover and they are replacing the actuator if I remember what they said
...and of course it's on backorder...
