Did the same climb. Significantly less weight. I stayed in 2wd for a lot more of the climb and found 4lo to be too damn slow. Still bumped up against the red on transmission gauge and stopped to cool down a few times. I am OTT tuned and running heavy 34” C rated tires. A bit annoying but chose...
Two 180+ dudes, camping gear for 4 nights, loaded bed, loaded on top of the seat delete and 200 pound E-Bike. Played with descent control and smelled brakes coming down. With hybrid being heavier from factory it might be more common for them.
I just experienced the same thing non-hybrid. I was at 5000-8000 feet using 4wd rocky mode extremely loaded down. On the second to last ascent I noticed because I was losing power. Last year I took my 23 Colorado on the same trip and it did not have this issue.
Pedal commander got delayed and cancelled when I initially ordered. That turned out to be great luck. I now have the OTT tune and it included increased throttle sensitivity. It feels like it’s always sport mode now and more fun to drive.
Check my signature. I do think that +25 is the sweet spot. 0 is pretty aggressive. I have switched over to RokBlock mudflaps and they're getting the job done.
Unlike the Pro/TH fenders. These roughcountry ones stay thick all the way down. I could have 35s easy with 40 offset. Or maybe 35x10.5 with 22ish offset. But 11.5 tires and 0 offset has me hitting outside the strike plate area.

@Adam I have found myself switching in and out of 4wd pretty consistanly on the highways in those conditions. Traction has not been an issue but I have had a few time that ice got me a little puckered. Mostly going 35+. I do run the 4wd on some dirt roads as this trucks rear gets squirrly at...
You can take a flat file to the edge to clean up the cut. I only had a metal cutoff wheel handy and it came out clean but leaves some melted plastic strips to clean up.
Got any closeups during the day? I've been wanting to get this done and you're the first I've seen.
Since I got the DV8 bumper i thought getting their winch would be the best option. Got into the instructions and even they used a harbor freight winch that's much less money and looks higher quality. However It is 21" . Only potential issue is some hard lines on the sides of the winch and my...
Front seems to be sitting a bit high so this might level it out. No safety/sensor issues. Those are in the upper area by fog lights so if you want to keep things simple these covert bumpers are the best choice.
Colorado moose. Amazing animals.
Tires look great but are a noticeable weight...
Yes length, thank you.
Im going to mount this on top of the DB.

For underneath I went with a low profile sliding tray. I will have full bed access for gear with a few bikes/motos/paddleboards/snowboards up top.
