Doesnāt work at night but that can be fixed with a small led ditch light on an aux switch! Waiting on my drop-in series 10 anchors to clean up the harness on the roof rack

Texas manā¦sucking in all the business good for themā¦a purist is like my LC is made in Japan. But Iāve ridden in the new LC, own a TH and I think mine is nicer TBH
Yea if you drive 80mph across the desert in a TH in a headwind youāre getting 12.8. But if you take the scenic route and make some stops, youāre getting sticker. Tail wind on the way back youāre getting 25.6. Unless of course youāre rocking dump truck treads. Then 11.7. Good luck fitting that...
Heavy as F⦠Like a fat man sitting on your bumper. They have to be steel for swing out IDK, make it in titanium for a midsize dammit, I got the long bed can fit my bike in the bed, might get a 1UP but just for 1-3 bikes - largely aluminum and they make a swing out (also steel, hell, make it out...
Looks like you had great weather, largely avoided bad air quality areas w/wildland fires currently flaring up so Iād call that a success and well worth it. Great pics. ESP camping on the edge of the Grand Canyon šš¼
That Grape Solar unit āisā the trickle charger. Outputs 12v 10A max running this setup since February: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Grape-Solar-PWM-10A-IP68-Charge-Controller-GS-PWM-10A-IP68/334393733

The ā24 THs have the same parasite draw, double check your lights, scene lights, aux etc. swap the starter battery, get a maintainer or a solar charger controller. If your start battery is dialed, truck is dialed.
So yes and no on cloudy days, kinda a mix of the hybrid pack being in the sweet spot 1/3rd to 1/2 charge, optimal outside temps and definitely the starter cell being topped off which can take awhile. Those 3 variables, and if you run ECO mode no AC you can really squeeze a lot of engine off...
I focus on trip MPGs currently/ with a bunk cell itās ~15-18 MPGs for a relatively flattish 8mi round trip, with a properly charged healthy cell same trip is 24-27mpgs. City in town roads
MPGs will improve if you trickle charge that starter cell. I have a ā24 TH that sat in port w/intake redesign/ long story short - my starter battery went bad and I decided to keep this new cell always topped off w/a solar charge controller on top of my GFC and MPGs are legit better than sticker...
Also factor payload onto thisā¦. Car and Driver did an RTI flex test and the Trailhunter scored 532, edging the TRD Pro at 520 ā making it pretty much the top pickup with IFS for articulation. IDK the answer but I think I just looked at a TH build thread here where the dude had the front wheel...
Asking $450, was installed for ~4 months, never really saw a serious trip with it, stored in a vinyl bag in the garage and decided itās time to sell this 40% portion, I rock a 3 seater in my Trailhunter. Originally wanted the full delete because we have a Great Dane and wanted to get him out...
the camera tech helps a lot, but yes the LB drives big, it is after all as long as many full size pickups, just narrower. My old Dodge Ram is impossible to park, horrible turn radius. I guess my only advice is drive a really long shitty old truck and you'll ace parking a gen 4 LB taco.
2 pics - one Gucci in town, one getting after it. Everyone has their version of both extremes of the spectrum, judgement free zone here, let's have some fun.
that is a nice setup! 8.5 gal! My rinse kit only 5gal but if I do a 3rd night at the same spot I'll refill with a water bag. I think both fridges are good, Dometic man kinda pricey never really good deals. But they make good stuff, sips power...
I'm a yuuge advocate of building out minimal/lightweight & for the season/overall mission goals/trip...I did go heavy ass kitchen gear slide last year, built-out a custom slide for myself and ultimately realized I didn't need it with how I camp. Sold that, and now I'm down to a really slick &...
You might be thinking about the orange paint stripper stuff you can buy at HD or Lowes but the 3M citrus stuff removes adhesive / formulated for it. I wouldn't personally put the stripper in the camper...that kind of stripper that is bro
