Rob motive collabed with someone to create shims that go on the inside of the bed under the flap. I used some thing to wedge between the rail with the cleats and the rail top and it’s sitting better than before.
I’ll try to put rubber spacers and see if this solves my issue. Tho I’m not stepping on it for the noise to occur. It’s just when truck bed is cool and first right turn. If the spacers don’t do it I’m thinking bed stiffeners.
Any updates on this? Mine makes similar noise but when truck is cool not in the sun initially on right turn. Doesn’t make noise on left turns. Once it makes that noise, just one time after making a right slow turn, that’s all I hear of it till next morning while still dark.
Can you please post/send pic of the part that’s the problem. This has been going on for awhile and I’ve put shims here and there and nothing fixed it.
How did you connect your opt7 taillight bar? 7 pin connector or hard wire? If it was the 7 pin connector does the item on Amazon work with our 4th gen’s
So I just rerouted and rewired my fang lights to a caliraised switch in my cabin by the center console. It’s cool now I can just turn on the white lights whenever instead of being on the whole time day and night the truck is on.
