Easy fix! Stuff some rubber spacers under the truck where the bed sits in the rearmost part of the frame (thats where it pops)

popping fixed.

Toyota replaced my entire bed. It was apparently a known problem that Toyota, not the dealership, acknowledged.

I have the same noise on a 6ft bed. I crawled underneath and noticed, it looks like the bed just has a locating tab sticking through rear cross rail in that spot and possibly does not have a fastener or at least never has had a fastener. I'll mention it to the dealer during my first service
Any update on this?

Could you take a pic of where you put the rubber spacers

I’ll try to put rubber spacers and see if this solves my issue. Tho I’m not stepping on it for the noise to occur. It’s just when truck bed is cool and first right turn. If the spacers don’t do it I’m thinking bed stiffeners.

At the moment I can't but its super simple:

1. Find exactly where your bed pops, could be anywhere near the edge of the bed closest to the tailgate and identify the spot.

2. Get under the truck at the edge where the spare sits closer to the tailgate area, you will see the composite channeled form of the bed underneath, identify the location where it pops and put a rubber washer in there, sandwiched between the frame and the bed composite, you may need the help of a flat screwdriver so that you can wedge it and lift the bed for a bit more space to instert the washer in.

3. Walk again in the bed's edge because the pop may have shifted, if it did repeat step 2 if not youre done get a nice ultra cold beer for me.

This also quieted my bed under certain bumps.
