That is your high-pressure fuel pump kicking in and out. It truly is completely normal operation, and the high-frequency sound you hear is the bleed-off valve from the high-pressure pump doing exactly that: bleeding off pressure.
So another update, gents. I took my truck today to Firestone. The 1st reason being the fact that they are open on Sundays. The 2nd, I’m sick of dealing with the dealership I got the truck from. So after 2 trips to the dealer and them keeping my truck for 5 days and the issue wasn’t fixed, the 2...
I completely agree, and the sad part is they had my truck for 5 days and put me in a rental for two back tires, and they still couldn’t get it right.
So I figured I’d update and say that the dealership replaced my tires and said they road force balanced them as well. However, yesterday I got up to interstate speed around 80 mph and noticed that it would shake you in the seat more than the normal drivetrain occasional vibration. I checked on...
Yes, I felt mine when starting from a stop until about 30. Then it’d smooth out a little, not much. Then I would get to 60 and it would vibrate and shudder. I could feel it in the seat the whole time. It was just worse at times than others. Keep in mind that with our off-roads, the shocks are...
I hope this helps. I have a 2025 Off Road 6ft bed that has only 700 miles on it. I took it to the dealer last week and had them road force balance my tires. They found out that my two rear tires were out of whack and didn’t even want to road force balance them after having them replaced under...
It is the electronic parking brake readjusting. If you turn off the parking brake auto engagement by holding down the parking brake button for 5 seconds, it will show it deactivated and will only be activated from then on out by you pulling up on the button and activating it when you actually...
I had mine replaced a couple months ago at my local dealership. I hadn’t had any issues with the original one other than I received a notification telling me to take it to the dealership and have it inspected. They did so and found corrosion due to moisture getting in the connection they...
I just purchased some trd off road wheels and tires for my 24 SR5. Both sets of wheels are 17’s however the TRD Off-road wheels have slightly larger tires. My question is would I need an alignment switching wheels and going from 245/70/17 to 265/70/17 idk if the off road wheels has a different...
The reason I said that is some manufacturers use them to help the truck reach operating temp faster. My dodge ram remains closed until the truck is close to operating temp regardless of whether you are moving or sitting idling in park
Has anyone noticed their grill shutters move ? anytime I’ve checked mine they have always been open. I don’t really understand what the purpose of the shutter assembly is for. I had the service campaign done to replace the shutter assembly and harness due to corrosion. Any insight would be much...
So update I took the truck in today for the service campaign and sure enough I had water intrusion into the connection and the tech said there is corrosion in the connection. They ordered a new grill shutter assembly and the wiring harness that plugs into it. Should be in next week and it was...
So I received a service campaign today stating that the dealership will inspect and if necessary replace the electric connection to the active grill shutter and the shutter assembly itself if necessary free of charge I was waiting for this to come out hopefully everything is fine with mine...
Mine sounds the same way. I figured more than likely it’s the direct injection system on the engine once under load aka drive makes the direct injection kick in more due to the load. Hence when it’s in park or neutral it’s not under load so it’s quieter.
