I ordered a rci. If you want it you can come pick it up no cost since I had already written it off in my mind. Better someone use it than it just collecting dust or taking up room in the landfill.

Funny you mentioned interference. They tried to pawn it off on my factory installed hard trifold needing adjustment too. But I reminded my service writer that we tested it with the first fold up together so that means interference shouldn’t be the problem. He’s now having the tech look further.

If true it’s very reminiscent of how not clearing the engine blocks properly caused all those engines to eventually fail.

Yikes. Maybe I’ll have them look at that area just in case. I’ve been looking for a coolant leak but haven’t found it yet. I can occasionally snell coolant when I exit the truck.

Took the truck in for a broken tailgate and they just confirmed leaks at the oil pan gasket and rear main seal.

Its there now I’ll see what they end up replacing later.

Dealer was able to replicate the problem. He yanked it open and we opened the first flap then tried it again. Same issue.

My tailgat won’t open anymore. It started to intermittently make groaning noises a couple months ago but was never consistent enough to take to the dealer. Now it just won’t open. Service appt tomorrow.

New never installed OEM ARB rear driver side recovery point with factory supplied bolts and nuts. $120 obo. I’m in OC and can meet anywhere between Brea to Irvine area.

Will the supplied factory frame nut work with the grainger bolt or do I need to get corresponding nuts too? If I use the supplied nuts I believe I would only need a washer for the Grainger bolts, right? By the way. I’m in OC CA. If anyone needs two bolts I will have some to give out after...

They said 1.5 weeks before they get springs and will ship asap.

I can’t find if changing the spring rates up front without doing the rear will be a problem or not. Did you ever get an answer to your question?
