A little residue if ok as it inhibits rust and provides lubrication. I’ve not find it attracting more or less dust than normal. If there is build up then I usually just clean it with either some water or the clp. You can wipe off excess and it’ll still prove lubrication and protection.I’ve opened and closed it 10 times at least with no issues - I also added the lubricant to the hinges
Do you find that the lubricant attracts the dust or the opposite?
I have multiple firearms so I’ll probably use the clp on those as well. My only small gripe is I don’t know how to open the bottle without some kind of pick.A little residue if ok as it inhibits rust and provides lubrication. I also use this on ARs and pistols. It’s protected my stuff from rain and dust.
There are also dry silicon sprays too but I’ve found they don’t last as long or lubricate as well.
Break-Free also makes one with a spray nozzle. Bottle will probably last longer and better for use with cleaning patches.I have multiple firearms so I’ll probably use the clp on those as well. My only small gripe is I don’t know how to open the bottle without some kind of pick.
