I have noticed the same thing on my TRD Off Road. The speedometer always reads 1 or 2 mph higher; I have not checked the odometer. I was thinking once I changed to a larger tire it would be more accurate.
I had a Covercraft for my last car and liked it a lot. This time I used one I found on Amazon, it's similar to the Covercraft in that it is a thicker honeycomb material and fits very well.

@Tycoma yes the plastic tub all had to come out. It's not hard you just remove all the plastic pins holding it in. You push the center of the front pins to get them to release. The pins along the rear need the center pried up to release. I put a picture below that shows each. I used plastic...
Checking back in, I made a rear seat delete shelf with 2'x4' plywood and a piece of angle iron. I used the GooseGear idea of putting nutserts in the seat frame and using spacers with long bolts for the front support. I left the sides open since I don't have the skills to make access doors. My...
Mike, it looks like you just installed the front springs? Did you get the 1.5" Alldogs shows on their site? In the video they got 1" up front which would be perfect for me.
I did the first oil change myself at 700 miles and paid to have it changed again at the 5K service. I hope to keep this truck a long time and felt it was cheap insurance. My dealer made a note in the system that I want to change it every 5K so they don't tell me it supposed to be 10K every time.

New member checking in from Texas. Picked up my TRD Off Road last April from a dealer in New Mexico. In July I set off to Colorado with 1500 miles on the odo and ran a few familiar trails around Creede. The Truck did great off road and had no issues with the moderate trails I wanted to do.
