I had a similar issue and brought it up to the dealer service guy while I was there. In my case, the headrest posts were moving around when I leaned back… he pushed it in further til it clicked and raised it till it clicked into place. In either place the noise stopped. I had it in-between...
@brentbba do a quick check and make sure the dealer plugged back in the fan switch after doing the BSM update. The procedure calls for disconnecting the switch, my dealer forgot to reconnect it causing my truck to overheat. ?
If built to an OE spec with matching materials/finishes while not interfering with the airbag or safety functionality, this will be a home run for 4th gen owners. The terrible passenger side… hand hold, or whatever it’s called should be an easy replacement.
This looks like a home run if...
@JustDSM that's the best write-up yet of the tune options. Thanks for those descriptions.
@Baltimore, I just had my non-hybrid taco tuned a few days ago with the Stage 1, Enhanced tune. I’ve come to understand that the throttle tip-in, while more noticeable, isn’t overwhelming or...
@JustDSM, was just reading thru FAQs on the website in anticipation of getting tuned today and saw that the dealer can recognize a change in the CVN number within the ECU. What is that and how does it apply to the 2024 ECU?
They’re the RokBlokz Rally I believe. Plenty of room to go to 34” tires, but I think these 33.2” on am 18” wheel are perfect for my tastes. Here are the flaps I bought from Amazon:

Just a data point… lots of research later, ended up with 275/70r-18 Nitto Terra Graper G3 tires. This is a true 33”, actually 33.2”, tire, so slightly taller than the 285/65-18 Falkens that were stock on these wheels. These are SL load and weigh 45-46lbs. Out the door, $1237 with military...
Yep, found that on simple tire and Discount Tire. They’re not on sale anymore, but still a lot cheaper than the Toyo AT3. Crazy that they list them as having a weight of 51lbs vs what you actually weighed them to be. ?
Bumping back up. I’m getting close to pulling the trigger on these but it seems there is a Tread A and Tread B version. Do you know which you have? The ones I’m seeing from Tire Rack and Discount Tire are showing 51lbs vs the owner weight you mentioned.
Anyway… still happy with them?
Installed 18” Tundra TRD Pro wheels in 18” vs the 17” I had before. The limited tire options on C and SL load for 18” tires is a real pain in the ass and very limited. Should have stayed with a 17” wheel.
