Hi John,

Thank you to you and the team for making such easy to use and install wiring harness kits. For the SR-L Rigid light kits, I saw post #118 on page 8 from you in this thread:

Rigid SR-L DIY thread

There are a few posts following where one user describes wiring his rigids into the trailer pin harness for brake light functionality but the subject falls off deeper in the thread. Is it possible you folks would consider developing wire harness(es) that would allow the rigids to function in tandem with the tail lights?

As in - the red halos would be on as running lights when the tail lights are on, the red halos get brighter* when pressing the brakes, the red halos flash brighter* with their respective tail light when the blinker is on or hazards are on, and the bright white spotlights turn on when in reverse.

*not sure if it is even possible for the red halos in these lights to act as running lights and flash brighter like the tail lights do when brakes or blinkers are on

I have the simple option harness currently that just plugs into the driver tail light so the rigids function as extra running lights and reverse lights. I would love it and would not mind going through and re-wiring if the rigids could be turned into extra tail lights. I cannot say for others, but in my case, no need the added functionality to trigger them from the switches in the cab.

I am thinking it would work like the C1R hitch light pod from Diode dynamics but without the flashing function when pressing the brakes. I understand theirs one plugs into the tow wire harness and is a single light so not exactly the same, but just as an example of the requested functionality.

Yes mine is a 2025. I’m guessing only the 2025+ will have this type of harness? Or does hybrid have anything to do with it? In any case. Thanks for detailed explanation! I’m going to research more and find out if my hood strut. I install would affect the installation of your ditch light brackets.

I really appreciate what you guys have put together but, man it is really difficult to follow and understand all of the options. I have read and reread your post a few times and the website links, but still unsure of what options I need.

I would like to use the lights in my non-ARB rear bumper. I have a 24 with the premium package. I’ve used the under hood aux switch connectors, 10a only, to power my grill mounted light bar.

I didn’t receive a 2nd wire harness package so not sure if I have a connection under the bed.

Anyway, I’ll study some more.

In an effort to simplify things, you’ve found a way to make it more confusing.

I highly recommend SPV for their harnesses and how they carry the full array of lights. I bought my Rigid Reverse Lights and DD Ditch Lights from them with the aforementioned harnesses and made installation easy and clean. Just email or call them on what you are looking to do and they will get you what you need once you figure out what kind of beam pattern you are wanting.

Has anyone figured out how to wire their ditch lights into the High Beam switch? I haven't been able to find anything concrete on what works on our trucks.

Just call John at SPV. And trust whatever he recommends.
