These are great if you don’t want to run parking mode for long. I’m a big fan of parking mode after the last time my car got hit they didn’t even leave their information. Just left. The dashcam got the driver and license plate. It was $6500 dolars not including the cost of the rental. She didn’t...
Is it the thread titled "Three Antennas on 25’ OR Premium"?
Here is everything that comes in the box;
And here you can see the three shells, I mean Shark Fins... Eh, fine. antennas.
Toyota has a video on setting it up. Doesn't include the Fin install though;
I received the OEM trailer camera with my Taco Limited. I didn’t even need it, but it was included on the sticker.
Are they just not available at the dealers yet?
BMW does mirrors right. My BMW's power fold the mirrors in when I lock the car. And they tilt down in reverse. Power folding mirrors make going through a car wash super easy.
The fact that Toyota's Premium or upper trims don't have power folding mirrors or even seat memory buttons shows...
I thought exactly this when I couldn't find it online before buying the Truck. Then, once owning it, I checked the digital version of the manual and couldn't find it. So I went through the printed materials I received with the truck. Not there either.
I think Toyota has given up providing these...
My guess would be one of the USB fuses powers the wireless charger. But the only sure way to find out is to start pulling fuses unless someone here knows already.
I was looking for this before I received the truck to plan a Front and rear dashcam install with a discrete battery for parking mode recording. So I figured I would create a thread with images of the 4 fuse panels in the 4th Gen Tacoma Limited Hybrid.
In-cabin Fuse Panel
Under back seat...
I hope ot has the cross bar. I know the non-hybrid is lacking it. I haven’t taken off the poly one yet myself. So you’re giving me hope.
Which one did you get?
I went with the Limited Hybrid. I do a lot of highway miles and little Off-roading. I went with the hybrid simply because it’s performance. But it will need a battery replacement at some point. The Prius is a good indicator as the second gen Prius is coming of age and starting to need battery...
AGM batteries are sealed and release less gas than traditional batteries. Charging with a small trickle charger doesn't cause too much concern. Of course, it'll build up over time, so leaving a window cracked seems like a good idea just in case.
Has anyone tried to install a Trickle Charger Cable to the engine bay fuse panel for easy connection on the Hybrid? CTEK has a couple of interesting ring cables with battery indicators and quick connect.
I can't seem to find anything here or Tacoma World.
I hate the trend of giant stickers on pickup trucks. The colors never match up after a couple years. The Limited doesn’t come with one. But I’ve taken them off my last two trucks.
IMO, if it isn’t a custom vinyl, take it off.
I think most Tacoma fans, and ppl on this forum could identify the...
Correction; It'll look like an SR5 with Chrome :cwl:
Well I guess it looks more like an SR, it's the only one that comes stock with no badges. Of course, you can't get this color in either the SR or SR5. So I guess it'll look like an SR5 to someone who wouldn't care either way.
I did debate the i-Force Max on the tailgate and the Limited door badge as they seemed a bit more unique. In the end, I just prefer the cleaner look or a more custom look.
I'm with you on the Chrome though, even though the black-out look has been the norm for 20 years, I'm not sure why Toyota...
The hood badge is pretty tough to get off. The adhesive on the back is about a half-inch thick.
Grab some guitar picks to help. Warm the area with a hair dryer, and insert pics into the adhesive. Continue to warm the area. The pics will allow more heat behind the badge. Keep pushing the pics in...
