  1. Low mileage trade in's - why??

I absolutely love my t2025 Tacoma Limited with I have a 2025 Tacoma Limited with just about every option either on it already or ordered and installed. I have a little over 8k miles on this truck. I absolutely love this truck. Never had a truck I liked better. I would have already traded it...
  2. Sea foam to clean 2.4L engine?

If you "need" an additive, consider something with PEA. I've used Seafoam for years in small (and yes, some older fuel injected larger engines) engines with great results. BUT, as someone else mentioned, for at least a couple of reasons, I wouldn't put it (Seafoam) in a newer 2.4 liter...
  3. Oil change, is it even worth going to the dealer for the “free oil changes to 25k miles”?

It's too light... Toyota specifies it to hopefully reach government mandated mileage not that it's best for the engine. European standard standards for the same engine or 5W-30. I certainly don't need it most of the time in Tennessee with moderate generally moderate temperatures and a garage...
  4. Oil change, is it even worth going to the dealer for the “free oil changes to 25k miles”?

I definitely take the 2 oil changes free from the dealer. I took one at 500 miles and paid for that one. At 5000 I let them pay for it. At 10k miles they can do the 2nd one on them. But, I'll still return to them for all subsequent oil changes because it's convenient. (and I have a very...
  5. To chin or not to chin

I'm keeping it. If there's even a little bit of mileage to be gained by it, I'm gonna keep it. It doesn't bother me a bit.
  6. 4th gen hate

Well, I thought I'd add my outdated and retired 2cents for what it's worth. Our 2025 Tacoma Limited is nearly perfect. I've owned a bunch of other trucks, mid-sized and full-sized. This is the best one yet! I'm not going to touch the issues with a certain "blue oval" type, (and 1 other) but...
  7. 5 amp switch for 4 amp lights ?

Yes, of course. But....you're fine in my opinion, as is, but "your call." You can't trust me...😊
  8. 5 amp switch for 4 amp lights ?

Theoretically, you're at 80% capacity of the switch, which is the recommended maximum. As others have alluded to a relay is better.
  9. Finally A Glove Box Gap Fix!

My "pavement princess" doesn't make any noise from the glove box gap. I can't even imagine what you would have to hit to make it move "as is" from the factory. This is no problem for me at all. I miss a good working glove box light a lot more.... :)
  10. Auto Engine Stop/Start feature for which trims?

LIMITED's have 4wd and have the start stop feature
  11. Do I need the app to use the FOB remote start?

Not sure ... (everything I've read says you do need a subscription) However, even with a subscription , the FOB is a "touch" cranky . It's maybe described, "kinda rhythmic." Just pace it with about a half second or so (at most) between button presses. Just keep the spacing the same and hold...
  12. Auto Engine Stop/Start feature for which trims?

    $29 and it's gone. Works perfectly... https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0DNMFYMBT/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2MK8J0GEZXJKR&psc=1
  13. HAAAALP! Digital rearview mirror not working

I really like my "digital mirror ". As for the depth of field issue, for me, it was astonishingly easy to get used to. I agree it was an issue at first..
  14. Anyone notice theyre brake losing sensitivity??? takes more effort to stop...

I have a 2025 Tacoma with about 4000 miles on it. This vehicle is stock other than the Minor things I've added however nothing suspension related or tires. I have noticed it a difference in braking over time. I initially thought it might be because of the new rotors and new brake pads. But now...
  15. Does anyone need a tailgate assist?

I love my power tailgate...It's simply convenient and it's open before I reach the truck with "the load..."
  16. Dead battery(s) iForceMAX

Tom . . . Do not make any decisions based on my reply... I don't have a HYBRID model Limited. So, I am just talking "generally." There are 2 batteries under the back seat of a GEN 4 Tacoma. One is the 288v NiMH and the other "should be" a 12v AGM. (neither battery chemistry should...
  17. Dead battery(s) iForceMAX

Unless your truck has been sitting for an extended interval, that's unusually low for a Tacoma, even with Hybrid power system. You mentioned you weren't sure how low it can go to power your electronics. That battery voltage is something like 50 % charged or less. (depending on the chart used)...
