I havenât pulled the trigger on bilsteins, but if youâre wondering about stock heights on a SR5 4x4 long bed, I can prob get those to you later this wk when I get a minute.
Curious if anyone has tried or could confirm the GX550 wheels are direct âplug & playâ for our 4th genâs? Found a set near me and was kind of thinking about it to do something a little different. Per google, theyâre supposed to have the same specs minus the tpms sensors.
Bought my 2025 SR5 4x4 LB, 39.5k vehicle price, 42.3k after taxes. Actually was curious earlier tonight to see what itâs worth now, and got an offer through Carmax for 37.5.
(step daughterâs bf was debating between new Tundra or Tacoma, so we talked truck prices)
Sorry to hear about the experience but glad they will make it right. SoâŠ.now that you got a set of bum wheels (and maybe tires) laying around, need to get rid of them?!? đ
Inside L/R shots of the rail, looks like something is welded on. Are these the proper reinforcements for the rear recovery points? Sorry it was dark out so pics arenât the best
Those that have installed these - I was thinking they bolted into threaded holes in the hitch frame, but now realized it is a nut/bolt combo. Was looking under the truck today and wasnât sure if I actually have the collars already? Could someone that has collars verify my L/R side that these are...
are those the âPrerunnerâ wheels or did you re-coat/paint the stock TRD OR wheels? Iâd buy something like that for sure since the TRD version hasnât grown on me yet.
+1 for the âTOYOTAâ/LC skid. Super easy to install and you will require the additional crossmember being a SR5. Plenty of access at my stock height and the wide holes def made it easier. I added the OEM front recovery points while I was at it.
Now I just need it to warm up so I plug the holes...
Thanks for that info. I also have spray in linerâŠ. Not sure if the one I saw on Amazon that clamps under the bed rail is secure enough without being screwed in along the bottom.
