So the truck does not need to be running, just the ignition on like if you just want to listen to the radio. Cool.
Good luck in finding a way to rewire it. That would be nice.
Waking this up for a question. Still want to do this when the time is right.
Do you have to have the truck on to have power to the compressor? I'm curious if you can just turn on the compressor from the "on" switch if you want to pump up a bike tire or dose the truck have to be on first?
From my understanding, the Donger Pro will turn a cam that does not have parking mode into one that will have the parking mode ability.
I'm not sure what you are referring to as a clip on to the mirror looking unit. It looks pretty OEMish to me. I did change the link in my first post to a...
I have been researching Dash Cams and come across the Wefoka Dash Cam that a fellow member says he uses. Its the closest look to OEM which is a big selling point for me. Are there any more owners of this dash cam that can chime in? What is your take on this product.
This will be my first Dash...
John, your question could not have been better timed. I too am in the search for the best skid to get.
So far I'm leaning to the millercat. The access holes have me sold. Already have the Formoto valve waiting to be installed.
I'm willing to wait until they come back in stock.
That would be an awesome idea IF you can get it out from the bed side. If you look closely at the light, there is that black locking tab on the aft side of the light.
Plus how would you fish the rest of the wiring back to the end of the bed to the taillight. It really needs to be zip tied up...
I got the #PT944-35241 which is for the 6ft bed but 35240 which is for the 5ft bed are the same. They come with both sides, two harnesses and a pack of zip ties.
They do not come on when you remote start. Only when you unlock or walk up to it and press unlock.
Like maxx075 said, they are...
I guess it depends. It was worth it for me. It really wasn't too difficult. The hardest part was getting those plastic "locks" out.
I wonder if a person could just order a bag of them off Amazon so they could just yank out the old ones without worrying about reusing them.
As for price, in my...
If you have bed lights and want to upgrade to include scene lights, getting this kit will be all you need.
First time posting "how to" installations so bare with me. Pics are using both right and left side. I'll specify which side the pics are referring to if needed.
Part # PT944-35240 is for...
I too had that issue at first but believe me, you only need what I stated earlier. Go to a different site if you don't get a return on the numbers I posted. I had to talk to the parts department to get the right answers.

Yes, completely plug and play just as long as you have lights on the inside of your bed.
I have a 6 foot bed so my part number was PT944-35241. If you have the 5 foot bed, the part number is PT944-35240.
I got them from the dealership first, but then found them $63 cheaper (even with shipping) so I returned them and just had to wait a couple more days.

I took pictures as I went so plan on doing a write up when I get a chance.
I can confirm these are the right part numbers. I got the 6 ft bed and installed them today. The kit comes with both left and right caps and the wiring harness to tie into the existing lights inside the bed.
I took pics today during the install and plan on making an instillation post once I get...
