No problem, here’s another side shot. I didn’t add any preload and there’s only about a 1/2 inch of rake. So, I would definitely add the rear springs.
I’m at about 2.5 in the front, but I’m assuming they will settle a bit. It’s really about just future-proofing the truck with the UCAs, that and they look sweet!
Your truck looks great!
Thanks! I went with a new UCA to grab a little more down travel and to make sure I can dial in the alignment where I want it. Plus I can easily run extended travel coil-overs in the future.
Buffalo is on the eastern slope in the Bighorn mountains. Very beautiful area with lots access to fishing, hiking, biking, etc. Very cool art and food scene as well.
My family is originally from the Buffalo / Sheridan area, so I’m a bit biased to the place.
As long as you can handle windy winters, you’ll be just fine. I would say go spend some time in an area you’re thinking about moving to, sometimes (depending on the area) the locals aren’t overly welcoming to out-of-staters. Lots of remote workers moved to the state during the pandemic and it...
I’m originally from there, but live in Colorado now. Some parts of Wyoming are almost completely unaffordable now. The Sheridan and Buffalo areas are nice and still kind of affordable. Also, depending on where you are coming from, the politics may not suit you, but most folks keep to themselves...
Picked this up last October and here is the build list, so far…
- Eibach Pro Truck 2R lift kit (with rear springs)
- Falken Wildpeak AT4w (285/70/17)
- TRD Skid Plate
- CA Tuned ditch light brackets
- Baja Designs LP4s
- Dirt King UCAs
- OEM Toyota Rock Sliders
- 1 inch Spidertrax wheel spacers...
Awesome thanks for all the suggestions and feedback! I come from the Nissan Frontier world and having aftermarket support and choices is overwhelming… haha!
Hello, new member here.
I am looking for some suggestions for a low maintenance UCA for my truck. I recently picked up the Eibach Pro Truck lift - Stage 2R (2 inch front, 1 inch rear). I know that I shouldn’t need an aftermarket UCA with only 2 inches in the front, but I’d like to future-proof...
