Hi everyone! We're gathering feedback from owners to design floor mats that better fit your needs.

1. Metal Pedal Poll
We're thinking of covering the driver-side dead pedal with a metal plate but want to understand your preference first.

2. Floor Mat Features & Design

What features or designs would you like to see on your floor mats?

What aspects of your current floor mats could be improved?

Feel free to share additional suggestions or experiences in the comments, we value every opinion!

I’ve been looking for aluminum/rubber pedal covers for the gas and brake pedals. There is one for the 3G Tacoma that I like with horizontally placed rows of rubber grippers that stick up through the metal back plate.

The ones currently available for the 4G Tacoma have rubber dots instead of rows. Those dots are pain to clean around compared to the horizontal rubber.

If I had a floor mat with integrated dead pedal, I’d want the gas and brake pedal covers to match.

Would like in blue or black if I had my druthers.

one that i can match these to. also functional wise maybe a hidden compartment built inside that the dead pedal can flip open to access. since we have crap storage, haha

In your concept picture, the upswoop design of the rubber pieces looks ugly to me vs. horizontal rubber. Looks like 1970s. I am nearly 60 and don’t dig a ‘70s style rehash. Also a woman for demographic purposes but I tend to like dude stuff.

For the mats, I’d dig a mountain and beach motif. I take my truck from the beaches to the deserts, rivers and mountains.

The truck world has so many mountain themes, but camping and outdoor recreation are prevalent along coastlines. Would be nice to reflect the gamut of outdoorsiness in a mat, which could be such a nice artistic canvas that also serves as a fantastic sand and mud grabber.

here's also some other variations that i was comparing against for the tuxmat set i just ordered.

because of this sole design aspect, the highest as far as any of my research turned up, with having the highest walls and cover so much more of the well, and mat extended covering the sill, the stupid plastic piece everyone kicks off, and a good chunk of carpet on the outer edge. How hefty that kick plate is i will find out.

there's also add on parts like i saw

this probably has the best cleanliness, simple aesthetic, still modern and using a 3 layer system as well. They sell an op

they sell an optional chunk of fatter pad if needed

but wins in the cleanliest and probably pretty easy to clean since not so many crevices that usually are designed as grip.

I think you guys use the same material in your tailgate covers

last deal breaker was the ability to purchase items separately. If tuxmat did do that, I would have bought the rear from them, and used the 3D mats in the front. the 3D mat rear are 3 separate pieces vs 1 long one. if 3D ever made 1 piece rears, id have gotten those. finally, cuz we're by the fuse boxes in the well, add on an adjustable dimmable 5mm cobb led light that also has CCT, so you can make it warm or cool lighting.

so, how to win. Make something that covers just as much if not not more creatively. also let consumers buy single double, however they want. Design variation between modern simple / tech grip rugged.

have some optional pad options , heel pad, side knee pad, shit if i had a blank roll of that material i'd start covering certain high traffic areas, like a center console cover, where since it is a moldable material, create an arm pad extensioned shape so the cover extended forward more. my little hatchback had a little slide, tacoma has nada.

and a couple of these to add to the lower interior cover. but not stainless, just the simple 3d pattern and velcro'd on the bottom of the seat backs

last request.

can you mold it into the shape of the headliner......so your headliner becomes rugged, and doesn't damage easily or at all really from getting touched or hit by something. Now if you could do that, I'd drive over there tomorrow to be a test guinea pig.

i'd put a layer of butyl rubber with like a felt or eva foam do make them more into sound deadeners. especially if the whole headliner thing could be made. Could that make things even more quiet, testing would be needed to see how much until you get to diminishing returns.

So yea, thats what i would do.
