"Two methods for remote starting your 4th Gen Tacoma. As it gets warmer, it can make a difference to start cooling the truck before getting to it! Just make sure the AC is running when your turn the truck off. Keep in mind the truck will run for 10 minutes before turning off."

On my 2022 Canadian TRD Sport Premium and 2020 OR Prem if I remote started with the FOB in cold weather the windshield defroster would come on max heat and fan,and the side mirror defrosters would come on automatically..regardless of the previous settings. In hot weather max A/C would come on. I never used the app on either truck. I wonder if the 24s are the same?

Glad see they finally have a remote start that doesn't kill the engine when you unlock the door.
