My error is potentially your gain. Ordered and started to paint the upper bumper trim part before realizing that I ordered the wrong one and it was missing sensor cutouts. You could strip the paint off, finish painting it out, or vinyl wrap it in your preferred styling. Left the painter's tape on covering the attachment tabs just in case.

Change the AK010 to AK050 to get black with fogs & sensors. You'll also need sensor brackets as they are not reusable (one time double-sided tape)

what would one do with this piece? was it to replace a damaged one, or to de-chrome, or something else? i'm curious if it's for something cool i don't know about

Glad I clicked on this as I suspected, now confirmed, that I would need the sensor brackets. I picked up a used piece on ebay and going to vinyl wrap it.
