2024 TRD OR Grill Removal

I am in the process of replacing the stock fog lights on my 2024 Tacoma off-road. There is a set of wires that runs to the center of the grill directly behind the Toyota emblem. Does anyone know how to disconnect these wires so I can pull the grill completely off the vehicle?

Did you follow all that wiring both ways? Should have connections eventually to disconnect. I had no issues getting my bumper off when replacing my fog lights.

Each connector requires a push of a clip then a pull. Feel around a pushable release clip. I wear rubber gloves to help pull.

Directly below the two connectors you have disconnected in your picture, there is a third connector that goes to the grill shutter actuator. Disconnect that connector. The grille shutter harness connector is exactly the same style connector as the two you have disconnected.
About 2-3” behind the white tag (on the grille shutter harness) there is a zip tie. Cut that zip tie.
When you remove the front fascia / grille assembly, the harness will be attached to the grill shutter assembly.
