Honestly don’t know what I’m doing. I’ve been a motorcycle guy my whole life but I always wanted a midsize truck, as I’m getting too old to treat a super sport as a daily anymore and i grew up with my dad having an old Mitsubishi single cab pick up. Man some really good memories in that thing. Friends are all getting into overlanding and it’s the new millennial midlife crisis along with joining an MMA gym. I’m also Retiring my s1000rr. Made an agreement with myself that if I sold the bikes I would uptrim to a trailhunter as that was the price difference
Had a 2003 Toyota Camry before this. So I’m learning things about just how massive this truck actually is. Went with a shortbed so I could still fit in the city, I don’t know what everyone’s talking about this thing is freaking huge.
This is the nicest thing I’ve over owned and I plan to take care of it as I’ve always done my own maintenance on my vehicles. It’ll probably be a grocery hunter for 90% of its life, but I kind of want an overbuilt powertrain for my daily. I plan to take her slowly on dirt trails and graduate overtime into more difficult stuff since it’s just me out here. If anyone is in the San Diego area and is down to teach a newbie stuff hit me up.
It was 59k. Before taxes/doc fees. Biggest purchase I’ve ever made.
