Not trying to be an ass, but honestly there is not one product today that is believable that you put on a vehicle and it lasts 2+ years. Took a look at the site and they offer an 8 year one? Insane.

There appears to be no warranty coverage with this either? I’m a fan of ceramic coatings, but I’m using high quality options like AmmoNyc, and I applied it every 1-2 years on my other cars.

Even with other manufacturers with insane claims on life expectancy, they usually follow up with specific maintenance items. Which when you pay a detailer (or include your time) you might as well just have recoated down the line.
I've applied the Glasparency coating in the past and it lasted over two years, regular hand washes and their spray on boost. I'm not claiming it lasts 5 years either. But I'm giving it a try. It was definitely easy to apply and then a benefit too. I don't know if anybody these has been around long enough to prove that.

If/when the coating starts to fail I'll apply a new one. Probably something else just to see. No to get too workup over though. For me, I'm looking for something that'll give me a few good years, it is really easy to apply and doesn't break the bank. Are there better coatings out there, of course.

Hey all, I was finally able to get my video together on the choice of product, the process and final results of coating my Taco with a 5 year Graphene Ceramic. Let me know if you have questions and I hope you find it interesting!

Also I'm curious, which thumbnail do you think is best for this video?

Hi. I’m trying to decide between two shops for ceramic coating my new 2025 Toyota Tacoma. One shop uses McKee’s 37 Graphene Pro-Coat 2.0 and quoted me $1,800 for detail, paint correction, and coating. The other uses Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra (CSU) and quoted $2,200 for the same services. From what I’ve read, CSU seems to be considered the gold standard, but I’m not sure if graphene is truly better or just more of a marketing angle. I’m new to all of this, and both shops have excellent reviews, so I’m torn. The truck will be kept outdoors year-round (no garage), and I plan to hold on to it for at least 5–7 years. Which would you choose?

Howdy, I think either of those will be just fine. Graphene just lessens the likelihood of waterspotting, but if your vehicle will sit outside it really doesn't matter. So go with with the one you feel is best. Though if you did it yourself it's only cost maybe $300-$500 if you purchased a polisher. Even with the pro coatings, you may need to reapply in less than 5-7 years as the elements may reduce the time it lasts. Especially if you live where it snows. Let me know if you have any other questions though. Is your truck new? If it is, you wouldn't even have to polish it and then it would be the cost of a coating maybe $100-$150 depending on what you choose. Code BENINBETA saves you 10% off at The House of Rags or DIY Detail if you do it yourself as well.

Let me know if you have any questions.
