I removed and sold mine. It looks clean on the truck, and I liked being able to see it across the lot as I tried to remember where i parked, but ultimately it's just too small to do anything useful with. As the dealer charges 1450 for this option, and many can be found on FB for 500-700, I'd seriously consider checking out alternatives or just buying used.

Yep, the dealer charging $1450, no way, thought it was overpriced and did search the Internet for guys like you that didn't care for it on their truck and removed it, to later sell. Found one just a couple days ago and except for the day drive to get it and return home, picking this one up for $400 felt like a great deal. Yes I know it's just going to be a bed ornament but I think it will look good on my XtraCab TRD Prerunner with a 6ft bed. Spent the evening last night putting all the pieces together. Will. send pic when I take delivery of my new truck, in about 3-4 weeks.

I agree and I think it will look even better on a 6 foot bed. Pics coming soon as I take delivery.
