It says right in the manual that the pcs default is on. I live in canada so the defaults may be different. Gotta be extra safe up here eh! Either way i know it can all be disabled at the dealer. Thanks guys
Usually a default setting is just how it comes from the factory, but you can change it. I know that I have changed a bunch of those on my truck and they have not changed back. I guess it could be different in Canada and I guess it could work differently in 2025 trucks, but my settings stick once I set them. There are some I want and many that I don't and turning them all off would not be acceptable to me.

Ya you don't have to shut them all off, there is a long list on the computer that you can go through and pick and choose, I've seen it, i had my seat belt chimes turned off and the fake engine noise that comes out of the speakers, those were fantastic changes.

All of the customizable driver assist features are accessed via the steering wheel meter controls and are under settings in the multi-information display. I turned off the PDA as well due to the aggressive braking in certain traffic situations. No special tools or dealer tools are required.

You don't have to turn PDA off. If you turn off Deceleration Assist in the PDA submenu, that annoying braking will end and the remaining safety features will continue.

^ Appreciate that info. I just turned that off as well. I didn't even realize it was doing it until about a week into driving it haha.
