I recently spent a couple nights traveling a 60-mile ridgeline trail that straddles the rugged Idaho/Montana border. The trail turned out to be a bit rougher than I was anticipating, based on reviews on onX OffRoad. Had to put the truck into 4LO to get up a steep two-track trail to a mountaintop, typically only accessed by side-by-sides. But we made it and had sweeping 360-degree views.
We will definitely be back to this location; I'm thinking a nice fall trip when the mountains get a dusting of snow will be amazing
