Camping setup with Softopper?

Hey guys just got my 25 off-road long bed and I’m trying to do a budget ish camping setup in the bed.

I was thinking about getting a softopper and then cutting some plywood to spec to make a platform above wheel wells.

My only concern is some people say it can still get pretty dusty with the topper on. I live in southwest Wyoming in the high desert so this would be an issue for me.

Has this been an issue for anyone else? If so how did you fix it? Thanks

I installed a canopy/camper. I can tell you without any hesitation that the dust in the back was horrific. It wasn't leaking in from the canopy. It was coming in past the tailgate.

I did find a company online that sold a tailgate seal kit. It works OK, and I did need to seal a few places it didn't cover.
