As a note, Diamondback doesn't take into account Trailhunters, or any model with scene lights, when installing these covers. The shims, that are shipped to go under your bed side molding, will not fit because of the scene light wiring running the length of the molding. Not a huge deal but it will not be quite as waterproof because of it. I still love mine.
This applies to both the Switchback and HD/SE.
They’ll fit. Here’s how is set up my shims.

How was it removing the tops of the bedrails in order to add the support? Do you start from the back and just pull up and any tips on that like clips to be aware of would be great. I'm ordering one for my Pro and just want to make sure all goes well......and not scratch anything! lol! TIA!

Surprisingly it was really easy. I barely had to use any force to get mine off. It was 95 degrees in the sun, so that may have helped. Start near the tail light and slowly work your way to the front pulling gently from both sides of the cap until you hear the clip disengage. DO NOT bend the cap, move forward small increments at a time.

You just gotta wiggle and pull UP - not sideways - and it pops out, somewhat violently. There’s a slight “pucker factor” because it seems like you’re going to break the cap clips but it’ll be fine. I’m an absolute dumb ass with this kind of stuff and I was able to do it. I am pretty sure I’m the first person to ever install a DB on a TH. Anyway, it’s great !!
