Hey guys, I was hoping someone could give me some insight of where & how to wire the ignition trigger wire (white wire) & the night mode trigger wire (blue wire). The white ignition trigger wire will power on the switch controller upon starting up the truck & the blue night mode trigger wire will dim the lights on the switch controller when the interior lights come on in the truck when its dark outside.
After doing some reading, I know some people tapped in to the fuse box and installed an “add-a-fuse” to an existing IGNITION fuse, more specifically, the “TOW-IGN” slot for the white trigger wire.
And I’ve read that some people tap into the parking lights by adding an adapter to one of the headlights and wiring the blue trigger wire to that adapter (to prevent digging in to existing OEM wiring).
I had emailed Diode Dynamics about this directly but they didn’t go into too much detail with how to do anything. Not their fault, I’m just retarded.
I’m a noob to all of this wiring stuff, this is my first time messing with anything like this. Just trying to make sure I’m well informed before touching anything. Anyone here find any solutions or able to help me out?
